So … David and I have made our way back to NYC for a quick trip lasting just a few days. We are here to celebrate David’s sister Lara’s birthday tonight (I think she turns 53) and then we head down to Washington DC tomorrow to participate in the National Equality March for same-sex marriage rights before we return tomorrow night for Kylie Minogue at the Hammerstein Ballroom. I see Kylie again on Monday night then we fly back home on Tuesday. Yes, it’s a whirlwind but these events cannot be avoided … it’ll be lots of fun.
We got in at, like, midnight last night and we were famished … so we dropped our bags and ran out for a few slices of NY pizza:
While we supped on the pizza (and garlic knots!!!) we watched an episode of The Suze Orman Show … don’t ask, we’re weird.
This afternoon, David’s parents are coming into the city and we’re all planning on spending the day together … let the fun begin!!
damnit Trent, now i really want some pizza!
