Lindsay Lohan Appears In Court, Gets Another Year Of Probation
Yesterday we learned that infamous world-traveling partygirl Lindsay Lohan was ordered to appear in court today so that the judge could get a status update on how well Lindsay is completing her probation. Lindsay managed to make it to court today but she showed up late, which didn’t sit too well with the judge. Altho Lindsay answered all questions politely, the judge felt that she needs another year of probation to keep her on the right track. Here are a few photos from Lindsay’s appearance in court just a couple of hours ago:
Lindsay Lohan is in hot water again. At a hearing in Beverly Hills Friday, a judge slapped an extra year on Lohan’s existing three-year probation sentence. Lohan, looking solemn and appearing gaunt, wore a white sportcoat, black pants and her hair in a bun as she walked into the courtroom holding her attorney’s hand for a progress review in her two DUI cases. Her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley explained to the judge that a miscommunication had occurred when Lohan failed to notify instructors of an alcohol education class she attends as part of her probation that she would be returning to the class after she left the country for work. Judge Revel sternly warned the actress, “I ordered you into court today because I wanted to speak to you directly. I don’t want to get any more notices again [that you might be in violation of probation], no warrants … where you’re thumbing your nose at the court.” Judge Revel ordered Lohan to get prior court approval the next time she leaves Los Angeles for work, and warned that any failure to comply with the terms of her probation could lead to jail time. But the judge also voiced a conciliatory tone when she told the troubled actress, “I’m rooting for you to successfully complete probation.” Lohan’s only words in court were “yes” when asked if she understood all the proceedings. A progress review hearing was set for Dec. 15. Lohan was sentenced to the probation term following her second DUI conviction in August 2007. Earlier this year, the court issued an arrest warrant for Lohan, also related to her class enrollment, but the matter was later determined to be a misunderstanding and was dismissed.
Now, I’m not sure that Lindsay will see this as a good thing but I deffo see it as a great thing. She’s managed to stay out of trouble since going on probation and that is very likely due to the fact that she doesn’t want to go back to jail. Forcing her to stay clean might be the only way to ensure that she stays clean. I, too, want to congratulate Lindsay’s successful completion of her sentence but I honestly believe she needs more work. She wasn’t lookin’ too hot in court today (florescent lighting is NOT her friend) … mebbe another year of forced good behavior is just what she needs to turn her life around.

I guess we all have different ideas of what “staying clean” really means. Those pictures, her actions, they just don’t really paint the picture of someone who is clean and sober to me.

She’s so trashy and so addicted. She looks 40 years old. Everyone is so interested in her because it is such a sad waste of talent, but hey, we all make our own choices in life.

Other than getting clean… I wish she would go back to her red hair, gain 10 pounds, and go back to acting…. maybe then she can finally get her act together…

I think it would have worked out in her favor more if she quit it with the facial expressions and didn’t smoke whatever it was she did before she got there. She looks like a cracked out mess! Oy!

As a wise man once remarked, “She looks toe’ up from the flo’ up”.
Not that I’m judging. I’ve been know to look the same way on occasion. Usually because I’ve been up all night, um…”having a good time”. That’s why God made concealer, eye cream and lip gloss. So you don’t show up in court looking a hot mess.

This girl thinks she’s above the law just because she made ‘The Parent Trap’ and ‘Mean Girls’ and suddenly she’s above the law. Don’t forget about your other movies! ‘Labor Pains’ doesn’t mean you get out of probation, BB. She looks like someone ran her over and gave her drugs to cope with the pain. Dannnnnnnnnnnnng.

I can’t help but to feel a bit of sadness for her. She was my favorite upcoming actress once upon a time. I honestly wish more than anything she can live a happy, sober life at this point.

:( Every time I see a picture of her lately she looks worse than the time before… sad, sad state of things… She was naturally adorable once upon a time….She is not even recognizable anymore.

Oh yeah, she def looks tore up. However, these facial expressions are actually some of the best “acting” and “posing” we’ve seen from LL in a while… Seriously, when she’s on a “fashion shoot” she has only a couple of faces. And her acting, at this point, is just sad. Here’s to hoping she gets help.

She does look unwell, and I hope somehow, or by the help of someone, she can pull herself out of whereever she’s at at the moment (which doesn’t look like a pretty place to be, judging from her apparent mental & physical state).
Despite my general unease whenever I see pictures of her these days, I couldn’t help myself chuckling at these particular photos. She looks like my 6 six-year old son when he’s being told off, sort of biting her tongue and saying to herself “I’m hearing, but not really listening” …

feel sorry for the girl.. she really looks like crap :( I think the blonde hair does nothing for her skin tone.. but yeah hope she gets back to some form of normalcy!

Without a make-up artist and hair dresser, Lindsey is just an average looking girl. Nothing special about her at all. If she continues her present life syle, no amount of money is going to transform her appearance. And no, I don’t feel sorry for her. Her life, her choices.
