Wow, that was really sad to hear the article about David Letterman’s work enviornment…and that there are more women on the Supreme Court than there are as writers for David, Jay Leno, and Conan combined! There are 50 writers total on those shows, and NONE OF THEM are women! Wtf people! And Kate needs to go away. How anyone can like a person who is so cruel to so many people is beyond me.
Since it says the “estate” gave the gift, I guess that it wasn’t written directly in a will. But so awesome of them to give to a cause that she cared about.
@Ally — My understanding is that it was Bea’s wish that her estate donate the funds to charities of her choosing, this was not a random occurrence.

First of all, Lafayette should die. He died in the books and he should die now. His character is annoying. I don’t care for him. Pam is NOT a lesbian! I think it’s smart to introduce the two gay male vampires in next season. This whole show is starting to suck. They’re focusing on Bill and Sookie (even though what’s SUPPOSED to happen really doesn’t happen) and they need to move on! Ughhhh.

Chase they basically are following a rough outline of the books. They are introducing those characters because they appear in the 3rd book and this is the 3rd season. As far as the Pam thing goes you are incorrect. She will go for guys but is way more into women.
I personally like Lafayette. I was really glad they decided to keep him around. I’m with you on the Bill/Sookie thing. I’m sick of them.
It was very touching of Bea Arthur to do that, she was a wonderful woman
