1. New York housewives were my favorite (mainly because bethenny is really entertaining)…but these new additions look even scarier than the last ones! but i really hope kelly bensimon got the axe!
2. I’ve been a fan of Jon and Kate ever since it started..i don’t think the kids are exploited..the show actually let them experience things they never would’ve gotten to. Jon wasn’t going to be part of it, so he through a fit and screwed it all up. I haven’t been watching lately because of what it’s become..but I really wish it was back to the way it was :(

Um people, the boy in the balloon is most likely no longer alive. He’s in a HELIUM BALLOON flying ~6,000 feet in the air. The temperatures are probably in the 40s and if that balloon is all ONE STRUCTURE then he’s been breathing in helium for over 2 hours. Its not silly. Its sad–why would his parents build this contraption in the first place and WHERE WERE THEY that they allowed their 6 y.o. to just climb in and fly away. A mess….

It appears the boy never got in the balloon first of all, and Kate Plus 8 is still going. Jon & Kate Plus 8 is dunzo though. Even the article gawker makes reference too acknowledges this.
It really annoys me that people *have* to add the word “unwed” into the description when speaking of a pregnant teen. Would it make it all better if they were married too???? (Getting married at that young of an age doesn’t sound like a good idea to me)…
My mom was pregnant with me at age 19 and *gasp* she was also UNWED. If she had married my father, it would have been a life of miserable hell. Instead, she decided against aborting me and she married a way better man, who was a way better father for me.. several years later. All that, WITHOUT having to divorce the jerk that fathered me. Marriage isn’t an “answer” to anything. I think marrying someone just because you got pregnant by them is the worst reason.
@PixiesBassline – Bless you! I agree with you 100%. Couples shouldn’t get married just BECAUSE they’re pregnant. And, parents shouldn’t stick together just for the kids’ sake, either. Kids are not stupid and they know their parents don’t like/love each other anymore. Also, it’s realistic in these days. I don’t think anyone is going to see the cover and say/think, “WHOA! That girl is pregnant, UNWED, and beautiful! Lyke, omg, I totally want to be just like her!” In today’s society, it’s realistic no matter what people think of it. If that girl were to get an abortion and everyone knew about it, she would be called a baby killer so in reality, you can’t win. At all. Accidents happen and it’s good these girls are being role models to the general public teenage girls.
…Darn. Anyways, the boy wasn’t even in the balloon. I guess he has been home the whole time, his parents just THOUGHT he was in the balloon. Now they are getting their own reality show, I guess?

Agree with all the posts regarding the pregnant teen. Anyone think of Kate Moss (only younger)? HOWEVER, I will comment that being a Model gives you a lot of income (relatively speaking) and a great flexible schedule. Here’s to hoping she’s going to be happy and the baby will be healthy… =D
