@Margie — Yes, it is great news … but the judge was a Dallas judge, which is kinda low on the judicial totem pole. I doubt higher judges in the State will agree with his ruling.
Dangit! However, Dallas seems to be a very Republican town, personally moreso than Houston, my home city so…, maybe?

Actually, Maine already has same sex marriage, the vote is to KEEP the law active.
Commenting on the Microsoft issue: I think this is misunderstood. A lot of online gamers use the term “gay” as a pejorative. I think Microsoft it trying to tone that down by disallowing the word to be used at all rather than discriminating against gays. At least that is my hope, I would love to see a lot less tolerance for blatantly discriminatory and offensive talk about gay people in online gaming. Ugh.
