    Commenting on the Microsoft issue: I think this is misunderstood. A lot of online gamers use the term “gay” as a pejorative. I think Microsoft it trying to tone that down by disallowing the word to be used at all rather than discriminating against gays. At least that is my hope, I would love to see a lot less tolerance for blatantly discriminatory and offensive talk about gay people in online gaming. Ugh.
