Kylie Minogue: Acoustic In NYC
Kylie Minogue, who recently completed a very successful first concert tour of North America, updated her official blog by posting a new video that she recorded backstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC (the venue for her 3 NYC shows last week). Kylie, her backup singers, musical director and guitarist performed an intimate and short set of 2 acoustic tracks … Wow and Red Blooded Woman:

I am in absolute LOVE with this video … Kylie sounds amazing and makes it very evident why she has managed to enjoy such a successful worldwide career in music. Wow is one of my fave upbeat Kylie songs (actually, it’s one of my fave Kylie songs period) and it’s such a treat to hear it performed acoustically. After the jump, check out the video and hear for yourselves …
So hot!! I love her voice … it lends itself well to acoustic performances like this. Perhaps this is a sign that Kylie might be willing to gift us with future acoustic performances of her music. LOOOOVE it!!

Kylie can do NO wrong in my book. I have to say that I am floored with how good these acoustic performances sound. The mark of a good song is the ability for it be performed either acoustically or with full blown production – Kylie’s just proved once again that not only is she FLAWLESS, her material is too. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks for the video Trent!

Yes. Thank you Trent sooo much for this. She could totally pull off an acoustic album. Two of my favorite Kylie songs too. Wow was written by Greg Kurstin from Bird and the Bee, I love his stuff. And Red Blooded woman is a classic with brilliant lyrics. @Jim G yes! She can do no wrong. She’s the perfect pop star.
