Heather Locklear Continues Filming New Scenes For ‘Melrose Place’
Check out new promo photos of the HBIC

A few weeks ago we got our first look at Heather Locklear shooting her first scenes on Melrose Place and today we get to see a few more photos of Heather, in her iconic role as Amanda Woodward, doing what she does best … lookin’ like a fierce beyotch:

I really love Melrose Place and I cannot WAIT for Locklear‘s Amanda Woodward to show up and start raising HELL! After the jump, check out a few new promo pics of Heather Locklear‘s return to Melrose Place

Amanda makes her return to Melrose in time for November sweeps. I’m already counting down the days. She looks amazing, right?

  2. Paul From Toronto says:

Me too..Love it.. This show is way better than the new 90210 redux..

  3. Rolltideguy77 says:

I love it too, it’s way better than 90210. I think people might feel a bit intimidated by a show they didnt know anything about. I mean, it’s the CW, it’s mostly teens and they were children when the original show aired.

I am in total lust with this show and adding Heather Locklear makes me fall in love with it. My only quibble with the show is the character David. I don’t know if it’s the actor or the writing for the actor, but I just loathe him & not like loathe him in a good way, but in a way that I hope he’s killed pretty soon. Also after last night’s episode, I am really liking Ashlee Simpson-Wentz on this show. She played her character perfect last night. On a side note: It would have been GREAT to see Victor Webster and the designer Anton V make out last night!!!!

  5. Jennifer says:

I think @rolltideguy is totally right, I watch 90210 because I remember it when I was little. Melrose was a little too adult for me at the time, I am sure I wasn’t allowed to watch it.

  6. Craig says:

I can’t agree more! I too don’t understand why the ratings suck! I LOVE this show and did not watch the original. PLEASE LET THIS SHOW MAKE IT!!!!!

  7. Ryan says:

I am totally addicted to this show. Over the past year I watched the original series (in fact, i’m not quite finished, I’m about half way through season 7 right now) and the little nods back to the original totally make the show for me, which worries me!

When David found all the old MPers names in a folder on Michael’s computer, what did the “new” fans think? To me, it was a huge shock and I can’t wait to find out why, but to people new to the franchise, I’m sure they couldn’t care less!

As far as I know, Daphne Zuniga, as Jo, will be on next weeks episode as the person photographing Riley for her new modelling gig! And, of course, I can’t WAIT for Amanda to come back. One thing that really annoys me though, is that they brought Jane back for an awesome episode yet in recent interviews with Josie Bisset she has no idea when or even IF she’ll be back. Way to wrap up the new Jane storyline, CW….

  8. Alex says:

It’s good but not better than 90210? seriously the actors suck in melrose i don’t like ashlee simpson at alllllll but other than that the show is like 7/10

  9. Danny says:

I like the idea of Amanda coming back and she does look AMAZING! I grew up on Melrose Place. It was my high school obsession, I don’t think I’m that old but 90210 provides that juvenile high school drama that CW viewers crave. I mean i watch the new 90210 too because its all trashy pleasure to me but the new Melrose is hard to get into if you are a tweeniebopper who can’t imagine living past 21. I think that’s the problem, Gossip Girl acts like you can conquer the world and own an empire by the time you are 21. The characters on Melrose are supposed to be late 20′s early 30s i’m assuming. But I don’tknow if it’s just the age thing, I like some things aboutthe new Melrose but other things bug me like theway it’s filmed is so stylized and Jonah/Riley are so annoying. I want to see Ella’s vulnerable side, I want to see Jonah betrayed and furious, I feel like thecharacters are just so one dimensional right now because nothing has really happened to them since episode one. Even Lauren is just so blah, “i’m going to become a whore”. I haven’t been shocked or thrilled by an episode yet. I really hope it finds its footing soon or I’m out.

  10. Danny says:

Okay since I criticized it, this is what I think should happen to make the show better….Michael should become one of Lauren’s clients, they would meet up in a hotel room totally by accident and begin an affair together, then she is in love with his son David at the same time. David needs another storyline besides the “i steal antiques” one. Riley needs to sleep with Auggie and it comes out at her wedding and Jonah breaks up with her, goes on a drinking binge and beds Ella. Then he gets all the fame and success and it goes to his head and he dumps and cheats on Ella. Riley ends up with Auggie but Violet turns psycho and talks them and tries to kill Riley.

See, I could write the show!!

  11. Josh C. says:

I LOVE the new Melrose Place.

I watched the first 90210 and Melrose back in the day and enjoyed both.

The new 90210 is okay, but, damn, MELROSE PLACE rocks. My favorite character is Violet played by Ashlee and can’t wait to see Amanda Woodward back on the scene. Loved Sydney…too bad what happened with her character, but great storyline.

If only we could get Marcia Cross to come back!

And with 90210 I want more of the originals…Kelly Taylor needs to be involved MORE!!!!!

  12. laura says:

I like this show, but Ashlee is the worst actress EVER. I mean she couldn’t even make drinking a Red Bull the other night look believable – really? Why couldn’t a coyote have taken her instead of poor innocent Daisy. They need to kill her off.

  13. Sarah says:

That picture of her in the red is sooooooooo Amanda!! I love seeing these shots! Her returning makes me want to give Melrose a shot. I loved the orginal and just had a hard time with a new one, but I just might give it a shot!!!!

  14. alexis says:

@laura — ashlee’s acting drives me crazy too. she just creeps me out which i guess is kinda what they’re going for or whatever, but it’s to the point where i hate every scene she’s in!

  15. josie says:

funny b/c when i saw the first picture of britney on the post above i thought it was heather lockler! and then heather is below. kismet!

  16. laura says:

@ alexis…it’s not even that she creeps me out – she makes me sooo mad! it’s just OVERacting…you’re supposed to be secretive and a stalker and whatever…Laura Leighton played Sydney like that and managed to pull it off without making me want to throw my remote through the TV from her bad acting! Not that she should have won an emmy, but she knew how to play it…WRITE ASHLEE OFF! If she were gone, the show would be prefection!

  17. Ryan says:

@Laura – aww :( we need SOMEONE to bring the crazy and MP has a long history with batshit crazy red-haired residents (Sydney, Kimberly and Lexi, mainly).

Am I the only person who thinks that Ashlee is actually improving each week?

  18. G says:

I’m totally loving this show i really like lauren’s story line
her and violet’s are the only real scandalous characters which makes the show so interesting
david is just getting on my nerves they need to do something else with him or just put him in a coma or anything other than being a thief weirdo

  19. laura says:

    @ ryan…yes…yes you are. : )

I mean last night for example- get a new “evil” look. Terrible.
