First Listen: Adam Lambert, ‘For Your Entertainment’
"Do you like what you see?"

Earlier this week we got our first look at American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert‘s album artwork for his debut effort For Your Entertainment (which is ENTIRELY too LOL-worthy to get into again) and today we get our first look at the cover artwork for the first track off his new album, also titled For Your Entertainment:

Um, I think Beyoncé needs to check her belongings because it looks like Glambert pilfered her funky hand jewelry to use as his own. Unfortch, his fingers are too stubby to make this hardware look right. BUT, not only do we get to check out the single cover artwork but we also get to hear the song itself — after the jump …

Meh, the song ain’t terrible. It’s got a nice beat … and it’s catchy. I’m not a big fan of Lambert‘s music thus far but this song ain’t all bad … once you get past the single artwork ;) What do y’all think … do we love?

Just by looking at the photo only, i thought it was katie holmes. The eyes and the brows…. lol.

  2. Kendra says:

I dig the song! It’s really catchy and fun! The cover is alright..Better than his album cover, that’s for sure!

  3. Anne says:

It sounds too much like Sam Sparro’s “Black and Gold”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHuebHTD-lY (hope it’s okay I posted this link!) But I know if I’m out and it comes on, I’ll dance to it for surrrrrre.

  4. Louni says:

  5. Kelly K says:

Love it. Catchy. Good choice for his first single. (I’m not counting Time for Miracles, I’ve blocked that out.)

  6. Meghan says:

He seriously needs to stop with this cover artwork. Every time I see a new one I just laugh.

  7. CoCo says:

Awww… Trent! Be nice to the little guy! I think he is adorable. Let’s not pick on his stubby fingers unless he turns out to be a complete failure. ;)

I love both of the covers! Be your own fine self, Adam! I don’t think the song shows off his vocal talent, but it’s catchy!

  9. gabe says:

the beat reminds me a little of britney’s womanizer..im sure we’ll be hearing a lot more of this in the clubs (esp the gay ones) :p

@Anne, I thought the same thing. It is too similar.

love adam lambert, but, ehh, its ok. it sounds like a song britney would do. if i hear it 5 more times thought i’ll probably love it, lol!

I like the artwork. It is fun, and his eyes look great. Can’t hear the song, so I will have to comment on that later.

  13. Ben says:

this is SO britney and i LOVE it!!!

  14. _M_ says:

He sounds like Richard Marx…what I heard of him over the music, anyway.

  15. la princesa says:

    I’ll pass…

  16. Sara says:

It totally does sound like something Britney would do… I think I like it… yes…. yes I do.

  17. Jenny says:

I’m not as fond of it as I thought I would be. Doesn’t really show his vocal range all that much. Too flat and too much like the other pop music out there. I was a big fan of him on AI though!

  18. Renee says:

I’m having flashbacks to the late 80′s…campy, but still better the Brit. Sorry, opinion only. Has a dance beat.

  19. xh says:

sounds like britney spears’ womanizer… O_o
