@ Gary – I couldn’t agree MORE! He was the “HOTTEST” guy on the show. These two were the only reasons why I started watching in the 1st place…really hope they bring Auggie back. He’s really sexy!

Alcoholism is too dark?? hell in the first series that was a main plotline of almost ALL of the characters. have we regressed to a social mentality before the 1990′s???

I’m sad about Auggie going, his story line was just starting to get interesting and if he had managed to break up Jonah and Riley and take Riley for a walk on the wild side, it could have gotten really good. Now what? i know Heather Locklear is coming, but other than give Ella a hard time what is she going to do sleep with Michael’s son?

I actually think it was the plan all-along to have Violet/Ashlee leave because I remember hearing something about it when the show first came out, so yes, she was toting the party line, but I also think she was being honest. As for Colin, I believe him when he says it wasn’t always the plan, but I can’t say I’ll miss him. I just thought his character was really boring, but I blame that on the writers. They could have developed the character better, but I think they kind of painted him into a corner where having him leave the show was the only option.

2 of the best characters. i knew ashlee wasnt staying but they could have done anything with Colins character. i hope they end up bringing him back…cause there gettin rid of all the dark characters…and this show wont last if its all up beat. thats what we have 90210 for.

Sucks for Colin…I actually liked him…Ashlee was ok as a psycho…If anything, get rid of Riley or Lauren…can’t stand those two!!

I think this whole thing is pretty dirty. As ridiculous as Ashlee is on the show, this seems really sketchy to me.

These were two of my favorite characters and really the only two new ones that I can name, ie Augie and Violet. I think this move is a mistake. If you ask me they should have axed the engaged couple and got rid of the whining to spice up the story with the controversy that the show has always been known for.

That really sucks for him but I’m still way too happy with the show for getting rid of Ashlee. Maybe it will be watchable now…
