Christina Aguilera Does British ‘Cosmopolitan’ Magazine
Christina Aguilera, who is on the brink of making her return to the music scene, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of British Cosmopolitan magazine. In her coverstory interview, Xtina talks about how she believes that women are much more sexy than men are and that, given the choice, she’d much rather look at a naked woman than at a naked man. OUCH! A comment like that’s gotta hurt her hubby Jordan Bratman. Here is our first look at Xtina’s Cosmo cover and some excerpts from her coverstory interview:
Christina Aguilera thinks women are “sexier” than men. The singer — who has a 20-month-old son with husband Jordan Bratman – says she’d much rather look at a naked woman. “I think women are such sensual beings,” the Dirrty hitmaker told the UK’s Cosmopolitan magazine. “And, I mean, I’m attracted to men ultimately — I’m married and I love my husband and I love what we do together, but honestly? “If I had the choice between viewing a naked man or a naked woman, I’d choose the woman. We’re just naturally sexier and more beautiful to look at.” “I feel sexiest in the nude,” she added. “I love a bubble bath with my husband and a glass of wine. He has a way of making me feel sexy. We’re team-mates. We know what’s on each other’s plates, what needs to be done workwise, what our values are as far as raising our son, and spending time together.”
Hmmm … these “outrageous” comments are sure to get talked about … not a bad way to get back onto the radar and get noticed before you drop your new album. I’m kind of a lukewarm Xtina fan … I do love some of her music but not all of it. I’m intrigued by her new album, which she co-wrote with the amazing artist Sia but considering how much I didn’t really care for her last effort, I’ll have to reserve judgment until I hear something substantial. It’s too bad for her hubby Jordy that she finds nekkid women sexier than nekkid men … I wonder if he’s a lukewarm Xtina fan, too.

I have always said that very same thing… it does get some attention… IM not sure why though it seems like everyone should agree really… ok, ok I guess gay men are excluded since that wouldnt make much sense really… but then again… who knows! lol
@JamieSpeaking of topless “whales” I can tell you there are more large breaksted topless men running around then women… and ewww….. if they’d just keep their shirts on we’d all be happier…

I am mixed on her music too but I really like her as a person!! She seems really cool. I hope her new music is super fresh. I want it to be a big hit.

She’s got a great voice, but overuses it…and I’d love her to be one of those artists who sings and didn’t do interviews. I don’t like her…

I’m with her- it’s not like it’s that unusual. I’m definitely hetero, but I only care to look at my boyfriend- pics of random guys don’t do anything for me, whereas women at least look more interesting, I think. It’s not sexual, though- it’s just a visual thing, and I think that might be what she means, as well.

I love my husband to death and still find him to be the sexiest man alive – however – I’d have to agree that if I were to have the choice, I’d look at a naked woman anyday. Naked men look like 1/2 decorated Christmas trees!!!

I dont wanna come across as a Xtina hater, but in reality, if she didn’t have that amazing voice – she wouldn’t be as successful. I know her first album didn’t really show off her voice much and she was successful off that, but that was the 90’s pop time. I really think Beautiful saved her career – without that, Stripped would have been a massive flop and people would have started to write her off etc…

I’m not the biggest fan, i suppose you could say i like Britney more if you wanna get into the whole (pathetic) Brit vs. Xtina debate. But Xtina does know how to work it though. I believe she can work it better than Beyonce when singing and dancing at the same time. Then again, she can outsing Beyonce anyday! I don’t listen to Xtinas work – but truth be told, i’m actually looking forward to this new album. She has worked with some diverse artists – but can’t help but think she is doing it to look cool etc… cause their the more independent ‘alternative’ artists. Like MIA, Sia or Santigold.I just wanna hear how it all sounds out, considering she attempted the GAGA look which kinda backfired (altho now Gaga is coming across annoying) but is sticking with the sound.

I can see why people hate on Christina nut I think she is awesome. I don’t think what she said is that controversial and it’s only a little annoying because it sounds like something Megan Fox would say. Can’t wait for the new album!

I think lots of women who are pretty much straight actually like looking at pics of naked women more. In person, men look great naked. In pics, not so much. Like Kristi says, 1/2 decorated Christmas trees, lol.

I’m sorry but she’s kind of pathetic. I mean, in 10 years she’s only had 3 studio albums. She’s releasing her fourth one next year. I think it’s pathetic because 3 albums in 10 years is a joke. I know she’s picky about her work BUT her work isn’t all that great to be released in such a manner that it takes forever and it isn’t even great, to be honest. I’m glad I’m not an uber Christina fan because I would hate to wait forever for music. I think she’s talented but I don’t like it when she over sings to make herself louder than her voice really is. I just think she’s quite boring. And what’s going on with her face? Yikes.

Stripped is her best album and one of the best albums ever. If she doesn’t deliver this time I’m over her.

Hey Trent was it Back to Basics you didn’t like or the greatest hits album? Personally I loved BTB – it was a double disc extravaganza that showed off her incredible talent. I didn’t love every song however but she took alot of risks and I totally respect that, not to mention the use of actual instruments and choirs – I loved it … obviously. ;) Anyway, I actually wish she would stay a little closer to the style of BTB but I’m sure I’ll love the new album regardless.
