I get this photoshoot. The whole article is about how he is a sexual fantasy for women and how he enjoys playing that part of them even though he doesn’t want to have sex with them. In these pictures it’s this woman all over him. She’s in a dominant position for almost all the shots and Adam’s eyes are never open. It’s a dream sequence, a fantasy.

I think the concept is beautiful and very well done. Both Adam and the model are gorgeous and his solo shots are even more fabulous. This guy has superstar written all over him!

i think what @80 means by Barney Stinson being “easier to stomache” because he’s played by Neil Patrick Harris is that we don’t mind seeing NPH play a womanizer, because we know he’s not doing that in real life. If someone like, i dunno, Charlie Sheen played that characted, it’d be too believable for people to enjoy.
ANYWAY, i like this shoot. i have a lot of gay male friends who enjoy touching boobs and making out with chicks. this doesn’t bother me in the slightest, and besides, the photos do go well with the article.(:

Adam Lambert is so fucking hot. I think he posed with a woman because it looks hot, but if the same spread was done with a straight sex symbol he would look like a womanizer.

I think its similar to how Barney Stinson’s character on How I Met Your Mother is easier to stomache since he is played by NPH.

I think people are missing the point of the photo shoot. It makes sense in the context of the article. He’s obviously not trying to fool anyone. The article talks about the fact that women love him DESPITE the fact that he is openly gay. He’s a different type American sex symbol. The title of the article says it all. Since that was the focus of the article, hence the pictures, which are artistically beautiful.

For those that choose to let this bother them, he’ll also be on an upcoming cover of Out magazine.

Who is Details trying to fool. The majority of their subscribers are GAY MEN!!! Why waste an oppurtunity to have an openly gay entertainer pose with a naked chick. I’m not saying it should have been a guy, but come on already. As Jack once said on Will & Grace: Details, the official magazine for guys who haven’t come out yet.
