Three of the Jackson brothers, Jackie, Marlon and Tito, were spotted filming scenes for their new reality TV series The Jackson Dynasty (which was previously titled The Jackson Family) in Calabasas, CA yesterday … and they seemed THRILLED that they managed to gain the attention of the paparazzi:
I just can’t help but feel that Jackson reality TV show is being built on the death of Michael Jackson. Even tho the show was in production way before his death, I am almost positive that they are going to so everything they can to use MJ‘s death to their advantage. I suppose we can’t fault them for trying to hold on to what little fame they have left but it just seems so … gross, especially in light of their younger (and much more famous) brother’s death. Blech.

I totally agree! It is disgusting and who will really watch this crap? If we didn’t care prior to the untimely death of your brother we aren’t going to care now.
I couldn’t agree more. We cared about Michael, and we’ll always care about Michael, and his kids, end of story. I do have to say that Janet is amazing, very classy and real, you can tell she truly loved & cared for him and is missing him dearly.

I heard something about Michael saying not so nice things about his brothers on this leaked tapes or whatever they were. I think Jermaine is the worst one out of all of them.

You know what Trent. Do you really think that they would prefer this or Michael to be still be alive. I do love your site. These guys were making music from 1968 to 1989. Alot of hits. Yes Michael was a cash cow. Or as Whoopi Goldberg describes him the gift that keeps giving. But they were members of the Jackson 5 and then the Jacksons. It wasn’t all Michael. I think they deserve more respect and they have a right to there careers.
When MJ died and Jermaine was speaking out to anyone who would listen (and pay him), I knew something wasn’t right about it. At the time, other people said “he’s not exploiting Michael, he is just the family voice right now”. It has been almost 5 months and Jermaine is still talking, and now this Jackson Family Dynasty? Correct me if I’m wrong but the show was planned only as a special, before Michael died. Then the Jackson brothers see how they can build a show with a following because anything related to Michael is still big right now.
Yes, as Matt said, they were members of the hugely popular Jackson 5, but they have not been famous in their own right for over 20 years. They are opportunists who, unfortunately, will ride the back of their brother’s name to regain success.

It seems as insensitive as getting married only a few months after the death of a spouse.
As much as I loved Michael, I’m going to have to agree with Matt’s comment. No offense, Trent, you’re much too young to remember when millions of teenage girls had crushes on Jermaine. And I’ve always heard Marlon and Michael were tight, that when Michael was ‘estranged’ from the family, he’d still usually talk to Marlon and Janet.
That being said, Joe needs to shut the hell up and go away.
