David Beckham, who is in the UK these days doing his duty for the English football team, spent a night out on the town partying with his footballer cohorts after Team England won their soccer match against Belarus last night. Here are a few photos of Becks with his buds Peter Crouch (with his lady Abbey Clancy), Michael Owen, Ashley Cole and Joe Cole making their way home after a fun night out together:

The England team were in high spirits last night after beating Belarus 3-0 at Wembley. None more so than David Beckham, who hit up a series of London bars until 3am this morning with football agent and best friend Dave Gardner. The 35-year-old sportsman enjoyed a marathon night on the tiles while Victoria was thousands of miles away on the other side of the Atlantic in Los Angeles. It came as rare opportunity for Becks to let his hair down as he is usually accompanied by his wife on social occasions since his alleged affair with Rebecca Loos in 2004. The father-of-three started his night at upmarket restaurant Nobu, before going on to exclusive club Bungalow 8. He finally left at 3.15am. And he certainly didn’t get much sleep because hours later at 7.45am he was seen arriving at Heathrow. He was making his trip back to Los Angeles to join his wife Victoria and their three children.

What a party animal!! Yes, as we already know … wifey Victoria Beckham is here in SoCal tending to the kiddies (you may remember we saw her all decked out in a ridiculous leather outfit at a school fair this week) but good ol’ Becks is already winging his way back home. As I mentioned before, I’m likin’ this new facial hair on Becks … he looks good all scruffy. I’m also very glad he got to chill out with his hot footballer friends … it looks like it was a fun night out.

Madonna is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine wherein she talks about (among other things) her early days in the music biz, her divorce from ex-hubby Guy Ritchie and her opinions on Lady Gaga. Here is Maddy‘s new (old) RS coverphoto and some excerpts from her coverstory interview:

In January 1984 Madonna had just one album under her belt when she told American Bandstand’s Dick Clark she had lofty plans: “To rule the world.” Over the past three decades, she has provoked, innovated and inspired; she’s set and broken her own records, most recently wrapping the highest-grossing tour ever by a solo artist with her Sticky & Sweet show. And now that she’s released the two-disc retrospective Celebration, the pop superstar who rarely looks back sat down with Rolling Stone’s Austin Scaggs for a revealing trip through her early days in New York, some of her biggest scandals, and of course, her most massive hits in our new issue, on stands today. Even as a seventh grader in Michigan, Madonna reveals she knew how to push her audience’s buttons. For her first ever performance, “I had my girlfriends paint my body with fluorescent hearts and flowers,” she recalls of a rendition of the Who’s “Baba O’Riley” that left her fellow students speechless. “I wore a pair of shorts and a midriff top, and I just went mad. … I’m sure everyone thought I was insane. That was the beginning of my provocative performances, I guess.” But having innate stage savvy didn’t mean Madonna grew up a wild child. Though she tells Scaggs about her days as a graffiti artist when she was running with Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat in New York City (her tag: Boy Toy), life was tamer before that. “I was a geek in high school. I didn’t really have a drink until I got divorced for the first time [from Sean Penn] when I was 30,” she admits. ” ‘Geek’ is not a word anyone uses to describe me, except perhaps [Confessions on a Dance Floor producer] Stuart Price, who once said, ‘You know, you’re a nerd at heart, nobody knows it.’ I took it as a compliment.” She credits her first major shift in style — from punky brunette club kid to blonde wedding wonder — to getting dressed and styled for more photo shoots and videos as her career progressed. “I think people put a lot of emphasis on the whole reinvention of my image, and it’s always been a lot less calculated than people think,” she says. ” I think it’s boring to stay the same. A girl likes to change her look.” But if she had to pick her worst fashion moment: “It was the purple lipstick, fluorescent-green sweater combo. … It’s OK, it was the Eighties. It was a bad-hairstyle era. Let’s face it.” But Madonna doesn’t have many musical regrets. She tells Scaggs about writing “Live to Tell” and “Vogue,” returning with a head full of brand-new ideas on Ray of Light and teaming with some of the industry’s biggest hitmakers on Hard Candy. But after all these years, she admits she still can’t sniff out a Number One. “I’ve never been a good judge of what things are going to be huge or not. The songs that I think are the most retarded songs I’ve written, like ‘Cherish’ and ‘Sorry,’ a pretty big hit off my last album, end up being the biggest hits,” she tells RS. ” ‘Into the Groove’ is another song I feel retarded singing, but everybody seems to like it.”

You know, say what you will about Madonna — whether you love her or hate her — you cannot deny that the woman knows what she wants and gets what she wants … no matter what it is that she wants. From the start of her career, her hunger to conquer the world has kept her on point and allowed her to carve out a legendary career. Because she now has everything that she wants, she’s not as hungry anymore and, therefore, isn’t as innovative as she used to be. While I would love for Madonna to be the iconic trendsetter that she is known to be for years to come, I just don’t know that she can really do that anymore … which is why, I think, she is looking to the next generation to take up the reins. Thomas Dekker, the former star of the Fox series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, was arrested in the San Fernando Valley here in SoCal last night on suspicion of driving while under the influence after he allegedly hit a bicyclist with his car. Do you suppose that young Mr. Dekker has been hittin’ the sauce a bit too much since his Fox series got canceled earlier this year?

Thomas Dekker — the guy who played “John Connor” on the Terminator TV show — was arrested last night on suspicion of DUI after allegedly hitting a bicyclist. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 21-year-old “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” actor was busted around 9pm Wednesday in the San Fernando Valley. On his booking sheet, Dekker is listed as being 5’11″, 155lbs. He’s currently being held on suspicion of felony DUI and causing bodily harm. His bail is set at $100,000.

Sucks!! It is completely outrageous that so many idiots still have no problem gettin’ drunk and then gettin’ behind the wheel of motor vehicles. I get that Dekker is a relative kid but, c’mon, at 21 you should deffo know better. Because of one bad decision he almost killed someone on their bike AND has ruined his record by getting a DUI. Just … stupid. Hopefully this arrest will be a wake-up call for Dekker … he is very lucky that no one was seriously injured.

Yesterday we learned the wonderful news that Britney Spears‘s new single, 3, has debuted atop the Billboard magazine Hot 100 Singles Chart and today we get to see a bunch of fun photos from the set of the music video for this single. BritneySpears.com debuted a few behind the scenes photos, which you can see below, and issued a press release about Britney‘s latest #1 single and her upcoming Singles Collection release, which you can read here:

Britney Spears debuts at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new single “3,” making her the first artist to do so in over three years, Billboard magazine reports. The critically acclaimed single will also debut at #1 on the Billboard Digital charts. Rolling Stone Magazine called “3″ an “instant Britney classic,” and gave the hit a four-star review, building further anticipation for the release of her album The Singles Collection on Nov. 24. The song, recorded with hit maker Max Martin, trumped a title previous held by American Idol winner Taylor Hicks since 2006. Britney is the first artist outside of the American Idol camp to claim the #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 since Lauren Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing”) in 1998, according to Billboard magazine. “I want to thank my fans for making “3″ the # 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100,” Britney said in response to the news. “I am truly blessed with the greatest fans in the world and I am so happy y’all love it because I do this all for you. Ooooh, it looks like this music video is going to be FUN! I understand the choreography is going to be very upbeat and technical, something we haven’t seen from our dear Britney in some time.
