Back in July we learned that Buffyverse alum Summer Glau, ex-Firefly and Serenity, would be joining the cast of Dollhouse but we’re already two eps in and we’ve not seen hide nor hair of Ms. Glau on the show or in any of the promotional materials. There have been promo photos of many of the other Dollhouse castmembers but thus far, no Summer … until now. The new issue of Entertainment Weekly features photos from set visits to various movies and TV shows and brings us our FIRST LOOK at Summer Glau in the Dollhouse:

Cult auteur Whedon continues to make Fox’s Dollhouse — starring Eliza Dushku (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) — a refuge for his former stars: On Oct. 30, Firefly’s Glau joins Dushku as a computer whiz from a rival rent-a-human agency. “They both have that make-your-eyes-pop factor,” says Whedon, adding that watching his past TV worlds collide trips him out. “I just walk around completely confused all the time.”

OMG … rival rent-a-human agencies?? I love it!! If you thought that the Dollhouse is responsible for questionable behavior, my guess is that some of these rival agencies are prolly worse. It sounds like Summer Glau‘s character will be sort of a female version of the Topher character (played by Fran Kranz). Girl geeks are always cooler in my book. I can’t wait to see Summer in action on the show. Woot!!

Brad Pitt, one half of the famed couple Brangelina and male figurehead of the Brangelina Bunch, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Esquire España magazine. Here is our first look at his newest coverphoto:

Thus far, neither the magazine’s coverstory nor any of the photos from Brad‘s photospread have made their way to the Internets but this coverphoto does give us something to talk about. I’m not sure how I feel about the angelic glow they’ve given him but I can tell you right now I don’t really care for the Photoshop facelift they gave him. I suppose the magazine was trying to make him appear younger by removing as many lines from his face as possible … it makes him look strange … alien. Because we are well aware of how gnarled he is in real life this retouched photo is a bit creepy. I’m curious to see what the rest of the magazine’s photos look like. What do y’all think of this coverphoto … do yo like?

On Sunday night Kylie Minogue performed a triumphant concert at the famed Hollywood Bowl here in Hollywood, CA, her first every concert in Los Angeles, as part of her first ever North American Tour For You, For Me. Kylie‘s next show doesn’t take place until Wednesday night in Chicago, IL so she and her peeps decided to stick around in LA for an extra day to enjoy as much as SoCal has to offer. Here are photos of Kylie with her BFF and creative director William Baker stepping out together for dinner at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, CA last night:

Kylie looked AMAZING as usual … ever the fashionista, she rocked her pretty frock right. I don’t even know what I would do if I ran into Kylie just randomly on streets of LA but I do know that it is so cool having her in town. I honestly never dreamed that she would ever tour here in the US so the prospect of having her play various US cities is still insane to me (even tho I’ve already seen two of her US concerts). I’ll be seeing Kylie in NYC in a few days time … I just can’t get enough. I wonder where Kylie will pop up next.

When last we checked in on production of Sex and the City 2, which has been filming in NYC, NY for about a month now, we saw photos of Sarah Jessica Parker all dolled up for a scene that looks hugely important to the film’s plot (to keep things spoilery free you’ll have to read HERE to find out what I mean) … and today we get to see SJP making her way to the set lookin’ her usual cute self:

At first, I thought SJP was rockin’ a tiara on her pretty little head but it turns out it’s just one of those snazzy headbands that are so in vogue right now (thanks to Nicole Richie). It’s not entirely clear if the outfit that SJP is wearing is meant to be from the 80′s or just look like the 80′s but the bleached jeans coupled with those studs deffo have an 80′s feel to them. I’m guessing that SJP is wearing the UGGs boots until she has to film and then she’ll slip on a pair of stylish yet painfully chic designer shoes. I’m just amazed at how fresh-faced SJP looks in these photos … she still has that Carrie Bradshaw look that we all love so much. I’m so excited to see her in this new film … for the first time without her chin mole. You may recall she had her signature mole removed after completion of the Sex and the City Movie so this new sequel will be our first look at a mole-less Carrie Bradshaw. Can’t wait!!
