‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Releases A Few More Promo Posters
Edward Cullen gets some play

Thus far, pretty much all of the promo materials for the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: New Moon has focused on the burgeoning relationship between protagonist Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart) and Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner) with Bella‘s true love Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) pretty much relegated to the sidelines. Today we get to see a new promo poster for the film that puts the love between Bella and Edward front and center … at last:


While the poster may look a bit Harlequin romance, it is among the first promo materials for the film that features Bella and Edward together … without Jacob in the picture. But, after the jump, you can check out two more promo posters — one that features Jacob all by himself and one that features Edward all by himself …


Altho I know how the whole story turns out in the end, I just have to say Team Jacob.

    I am not feeling the promo pictures at all. I think they’re kind of horrible… I’m also glad there’s no weird tint to the vampires this time like last time it looked like they fell in flour!

    Pfft…holding her “protectively” as someone said? Riiiight. The whole story is about how Mary Sue this girl is and how possessive and emotionally abusive this vampire is. Gross! And people love this stuff? No wonder people now are in all kinds of messed up relationships if THIS is what they base love on.

    @Ashlee – Don’t get me wrong, a few chapters before the end of book 2 all the way to the ending of the ‘oh my god it’s like a seriously bad piece of fan fiction off livejournal’ book 4, the books went completely downhill into a dark abyss of treachery against good literature, but that’s an inaccurate viewpoint. If anything Edward spends most of his time pushing Bella away. But then he also smiles a lot in the book and RP has this emo thing going on in the movies…, hmm.
    I have to say though, I really can’t wait to see how they manage to make book 4 into a movie people have to spend money on to see…. I do like being bowled over in complete surprise.

    I really cannot put my finger on why… but for real I am so excited for New Moon I could puke. I know people have started hatin’ on the movie, and it’s fair… everyone is entitled. But I just can’t hate. I love the story so much—it does exactly what fiction should- it takes you to another place entirely. You can get so swept up in the story– Count me as another obsessed fan… since 2005.

    @ la princessa i TOTALLY agree TEAM JASPER!!!!!!! I just think he looks super sexy!!!! The Poster is W.e for once in that girls KS life she looks like a normal grl not a tomboy eddward is w.e too the hottest is deff jacob n paul looks deli too lol but im still TEAM JASPER ALL THE WAY!!!

    okay im sorry i have to say this if it wasnt for taylor launter in the movie there would be no team jacob in the book hes such a jerk sometimes especially in the third and fourth one but w.e. people can say whatever im just saying jacob can not beat edward
