Earlier this week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the ladies showed off their collection of alter-ego photos that were shot by Atlanta photographer Derek Blanks and featured each of the housewives — NeNe Leakes, Shereé Whitfield, Lisa Wu-Hartwell, Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burress — showing two different sides to their personalities (at least, that was the original premise of the shoot). In case you missed it or just want to see them again, here are the photos shot by Blanks of the Atlanta Housewives showing off their dual personalities:
NENE LEAKES — After directing her costars during their shoots, NeNe stepped in front of the camera to portray a pole-dancing stripper and a reluctant socialite tipper.
SHEREE WHITFIELD — Making light of her much-hyped “seven-figure” divorce settlement, the She by Shereé designer posed as a fashionista and a robber.
LISA WU-HARTWELL — Watch the cookies! At the alter-ego photo shoot, NeNe got her pal to pose as a punk and a goody-goody Girl Scout.
KIM ZOLCIAK — Deciding not to dress up like a black version of herself, Kim chose to pose as a mistress and her lover’s scorned wife at a Laundromat.
KANDI BURRESS — Kandi, whose friends were involved in a drunk-driving accident, decided send a message, portraying an intoxicated clubber who got behind the wheel and her victim.
I personally was not too impressed by all of the photos. I thought NeNe, Shereé and Lisa had the right attitude … Kim‘s photo is fug and Kandi‘s photo – while admirable – wasn’t really a photo showcasing her dual personality. Overall, I thought the shoot was fun tho … Blanks has come up with a very creative idea and he has shot some very cool photos. I just love the Atlanta Housewives, they are my fave of the bunch. What do y’all think of these photos … are they cool or do they miss the mark?
I like Sheree’s pic the most. And Kim made a good decision by not agreeing to be in blackface… though I dont understand the laundromat location…. I think you are right that Kandi is not a dual personality, but I think its nice that she took this opportunity to bring attn to a drunk driving
wow. i saw the episode where they were shooting these, but missed the one where they were revealed…they don’t look as good as i would’ve thought. kim sabotaged hers by not doing anything fun…she just looks confused and heavier than usual. am i the only one that’s totally disgusted by her ever present implants popping out of everything she owns?? i would be offended if any of my friends showed up to lunch wearing some of the stuff she thinks is appropriate for an outing. sheesh.
Sheree’s is the best! Kim needed something more exciting. She holds back too much.
I like Lisa’s and Sheree’s the most, I think..I guess Kim was supposed to be a wife and then a mistress, but I think she looks skanky in both pics..I’m not a fan of NeNe at all so it’s no surprise that I think she just looks gross..I like this idea, though!
whoa, kim’s is so weird!! at least she didn’t dress up as the black version of herself because that would have been 102103921 times worse! i kind of like nene’s, which is odd because i thought it would end up looking hella slutty (considering her nips were popping out all over the place in the episode). trent, i’m so glad you’re a RHOA fan!!
I love Kandi’s…although it doesn’t show her alter ego, it could be anyone elses that drinks and thinks they are OK to drive…
The reveal show I just didn’t like – I think the women are getting too “into” their “roles” instead of being themselves. The dramz was ridic – Kim falling, and NeNe then basically claiming she did it on purpose…sheesh if you saw her leg, you would NOT have wanted to done that on purpose…the whimpering though, was overdone Kim.
The sanest ones on that show are Kandi and Lisa. I used to like NeNe, but she’s changed….zomg better stop I am such a RHOA fan!
I dont watch the show but I liked Sheree’s the best and I thought Kandi’s was still cool. The Kim and Lisa one looks dull and Nene’s is too cheesy.

This is show is begining to be very ghetto. I have been watching housewives of atlanta since season one. Nene is cool although sometimes she should consider peoples feelings when she talks to them, I think that if Kim hadnt mesed up their friendship by dogging her out to Sharee I believe they would still be cool. Lisa is the low key shit starter. Candy, I believe when she came on the show her target was to steel Nenes spotlight. If you ever notice she is always lookin at her funny or always like here we go like Nene is a shit starter. The thing that pissed me off on the last episode was when she told Nene I heard you were talkin about me. If I was Nene I would have went off too. Because automatically you have an anamocity towards her because you feel like Nene was talkin about her. I believe Candy wants the world to look at her like she is sweet so she can promote herself because honestly who remembers exscape like that? There are new artists out now her whole persona is just fake too me! Kim is just a dumb-ass who talks about all of them and then will be friends with who ever will take her under there wing she is just a mess and a cry baby who loves attention. Sheree is just a bitch who probally had nothing growing up and thinks now that everyone owes her something. This show is just so ghetto now!
NeNe is a total skank. Candy might as well went to the has been house on MTV with bridgette and flava, talk about a surreal life.. Who the hell is escape anyhow. The pictures are cool but the subjects are lacking appeal. Lisa is the most ghetto one, trying to be a princess….what a joke. she starts more crap that all the others combined, give up the act lady you arent fooling anyone.
