The ‘Real Housewives’ Are ‘Tardy For The Party’

Bravo TV has whipped up a music video to accompany the new song Tardy for the Party that was “recorded” by Kim Zolciak (from The Real Housewives of Atlanta) but was written and produced by Kandi Burruss (also from TRHOA) that includes appearances from castmembers of all of the Real Housewives shows from the various seasons — Orange County, New York City, Atlanta and New Jersey:
The video looks kinda homemade but it’s cute … I guess. I hate that I like the song because I really cannot stand Kim … but everything great about the song is due to Kandi‘s musical (and seemingly magical) talent. You listen to this song once and it’s in your head for hours/days/weeks. It remains to be seen if Zolciak will release a music video of her own … but I think this one is enough.

trent! i usually agree with your opinions on everything from outfits to music to celeb crushes. but this song is utter crap.
@bird — LOL. I never said it wasn’t crap. It’s shit on a stick … but Kandi really transformed the song which was moldy diarrhea from the start into aforementioned crap.
I have had this song in my head for the last few days..It’s slowly driving me insane! It’s effing catchy, damn it! Kind of random that they used footage from past Real Housewives and then threw a second or two from NYC Prep..

L O fuckin’ L. this is hilarious! i love how kandi hated the song from the beginning, but i must admit that it sounds LOADS better now that she worked her “magic” on it. i can’t really think of a good word to describe this video other than “trash-tastic.” seriously, it’s fantastically trashy. AND, i think i love it. is it bad? of course! but does it really matter? hell no! these crap reality shows/songs are what entertains me in the wee, drunken hours of the morning. of course there is absolutely no musical merit to the song, and to complain about how “shitty” it is is entirely missing the point…
I love the song, and love Kim. She may have a 2 dollar wig and is in love with herself but shes not half as fake as the rest of the Atlanta hoes. Excluding Kandi.
OF – & this thread might be done, Trent. But if you check here, I found the following article that states that the remade version of “V” is on HIATUS after just 4 episodes! They will air starting November 3rd. with the remaining 10 airing Spring 2010.

despite listening to other music at the same time i could not stop humming the “tardy for the party” hook during an entire ten mile bike ride. ridiculous.
