Ryan Gosling & His Skeleton Crew
Ryan Gosling, actor and member of the band Dead Man’s Bones, was spotted making his way out of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater in SoCal Sunday night … I understand that this theater is one of the venues where Dead Man’s Bones will be performing during their upcoming tour and I presume Ryan’s visit had something to do with preparations for the show:
My guess is that the band will utilize the marionette setting of the venue to their maximum advantage when they perform there in concert. DMB will be performing in all sorts of interesting and intimate venues across the country, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if each show as tailored for the individual venues they play. I am really excited to hear what Dead Man’s Bones sounds like when their album drops next month but I’m even more anxious to see them live in concert.

I saw DMB and freaked the f*ck out thinking it was Dave Matthews Band…. I think Dead Man’s Bones needs a new acronym.
How about HHOR (Holy Hawtness of Ryan ;0)…. it doesn’t roll off the tongue quite as nicely as DMB….. but it gets the point across right?

FYI, Dead Man’s Bones played Sept 11th, and they will play Sept 18th and 25th at Bob Baker’s. The show’s sold out now though. I have tix to the 25th – will tell you how it goes!
