BoodyNeptune- The reason I brought up my art history class is because I was attacked for having no background knowledge or pretext for judging this art. Are you really mocking me for being a student?

Also, aside from my criticisms of the aesthetic qualities of these paintings, I feel it is inappropriate and disrespectful of the artist to portray the President of the United States in this manner.

@ganesh, Exactly what I was going to say. I took art classes for years, and I still don’t understand wtf Pisacco is famous for. Does that mean his paintings are now going to be garbage because I, the almighty art student, have passed my judgment? xD

And Its like, automatic fail when you post your school test stats on the internet during an argument. Good for you, you passed a class, welcome to the l337 group of everyone.

@ria and ganesh- my point was more geared towards the harshness of rias words. Of course you have every right not to like the painting- but to say he’s a horrible painter is a bit much for me- how I read rias comment was that he as a person is a horrible painter instead of I think these paintings are horrible. As an artist I took offense to that since your skill is personal yet the work you create is subject to opinion. I guess my point is that I personally think you shouldn’t judge the artist, you should judge the art. It’s very possible my rambling doesn’t make sense but I felt the need to clearify where I was coming from.

@Ria! Touche to you! If you follow Katie’s logic, we must all be master chefs to have an opinion on the food we eat, perfume makers to know if something smells great or like ass, clothes designers to know if an aricle of clothing is crap or not….

The image of Obama in the cockpit is my favourite because his entire body – from his fingertips to his tippy toes – is in SUCH a weird position.
Plus, in that image his bare bum kinda looks like it’s suffering from vitiligo so that certainly leaves me intrigued.
