Alyson Hannigan, who’s CBS TV series How I Met Your Mother just aired its season premiere ep, paid a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote the show and talked to Dave about things as varied as her daughter Satyana’s first flight to a funny story about her mother’s injuries from a car accident many years ago. Here are a couple photos of Aly lookin’ all glammy as she made her way into the taping of The Late Show last night:

Say it ain’t so!!! According to the headline on the cover of the new issue of Us Weekly magazine, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have ended their 3 year relationship … about a month ago … over the phone!! HMMM … I’m not sure that I entirely buy the dramatics of this report but I suppose I can believe that the couple have decided to call it quits. Here is a photo of the couple in happier times earlier this year at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala but according to this new report, Justica are now dunzo!

After a rocky three-year relationship, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have called it quits, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now). A mutual pal of the pair tells Us Weekly that Timberlake, 28, has told friends, “it’s over,” and that he ended it for good — over the phone. “It was about a month ago,” the pal says. While he was in NYC in September to show his William Rast clothing line at Fashion Week, “Justin was clearly on the hunt,” the pal tells Us Weekly. At a club September 9, he dirty-danced with a tall blonde in a short black dress. At one point, she turned to her friend and mouthed, ‘Oh, my God!’ It was reminiscent of Timberlake’s guys’ night out in June when he was allegedly spotted kissing a girl at NYC hot spot Avenue. Fellow clubgoer Lindsay Lohan Twittered that night, “So dark — where’s jb cheater?” She later claimed her account had been “hacked,” though another source tells Us she panicked after Timberlake “told all his people” to ban Lindsay and make her life miserable.” Meanwhile, Biel, 27, is in “severe denial and won’t accept” the split, their mutual pal tells Us Weekly. Another source says, “There’s no way of knowing if it’s a firm breakup, because with them it’s so hot and cold.”

Yeah … I’d take this news with a huge grain of salt. I love that Us Weekly threw in a qualifier at the end that “there’s no way of knowing if it’s a firm breakup” which is their way of covering their asses should the couple A.) be seen together in the future or B.) issue a statement that they never broke up in the first place. But, again, 3 years is a long time and I can absolutely believe that this relationship has run its course. I believe it took about 3 years for JT to tire of Cameron Diaz before he took up with Jessica. I suppose we’ll have to wait and see what Justica have to say (either as a couple or individually) on the matter but we should know very soon if this breakup report has any weight to it. What do y’all think … are they dunzo or not?

Lindsay Lohan’s leggings line, 6126, has a PR Twitter account to promote the brand and sent out a tweet giving us our first look at the new Spring ad campaign for the line … here is the behind the scenes photo and tweet message that was posted late yesterday:

I know it’s horrrrrrrible but I don’t hate the neon lime top … but the leggings are just terrible. I’m not sure who her target audience is but if it’s strippers, I don’t think they’re gonna pay premium prices for leggings with holes in them when they can just cut them up themselves. The whole look of this photo (and presumably the 6126 Spring ad campaign) looks an awful lot like the look that Samantha Jones will be rocking in Sex and the City 2. Ugh. This is a world of no. I mean, would YOU wear any of this?

DILF daddy Ryan Phillippe was spotted with his son/mini-clone Deacon Reese in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday as the pair made their way out of a medical center where Ryan presumably took Deacon for a check-up with the family doctor (you will note that Deacon is carrying a couple of lollipops, a sure sign that he was a good boy for the doctor). Wearing almost matching outfits, father and son looked too cute for words as they made their way to their waiting car:

We haven’t seen much of Ryan with his kids this summer … but we have seen Ryan from time to time over the past few months running errands, running around shirtless, just running around. It’s always so nice to see Ryan out with his kiddies … the sight of him with Deacon is just to die for cute. Don’t they make an adorable pair?

Last month we learned that Mariah Carey would be releasing a new fragrance called Forever by Mariah Carey — her 4th after M by Mariah Carey, Luscious Pink by Mariah Carey and Ultra Pink by Mariah Carey (which is a Wal-Mart only exclusive — and yesterday Mimi made an in-store appearance at Macy’s department store in Herald Square, NYC to launch the new smell … here are a few photos from the event:

I understand hordes of Mariah’s fans, or lambs as they like to be called, packed the aisles at Macy’s to get a glimpse of the diva. Coincidentally (or intentionally), this in-store appearance was also timed with the release of Mimi’s new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel which hit stores yesterday. Yes, yesterday was a big day for Mariah retail … did any of y’all buy either of her new wares available for sale yesterday?

Now that Britney Spears has completed the second North American leg of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears and she has a few weeks to go until she takes her show down under to Australia in November, it seems that Brit has a lot of time to go shopping … particularly at Target. Now, don’t get me wrong, Target is one of my fave stores … and clearly it’s one of Brit Brit’s as well. On a shopping excursion to her nearest Target store yesterday, Britney picked up a new cd by the late Michael Jackson … she was so excited to have it, she couldn’t even wait until she bought it to tear into the packaging:

This kind of behavior is normal in grocery stores … you intend to buy a bundle of grapes so you eat some of them while walking around the store, for example. I’ve never felt the need to open up a compact disc while I was still in the store (particularly because you cannot listen to the disc once you get it open) but I suppose it makes sense in Britney’s world. I expect we’ll be seeing our dear Britney out and about in the coming weeks now that she’s relatively settled down in LA again … I wonder where she’ll pop up next.
