More Photos Of Victoria Beckham In ‘Elle’ Magazine
“I find it odd that people will go to a nice restaurant ... in jeans & T-shirts."

Last week we got our first look at Victoria Beckham on the cover of the new issue of Elle magazine … and today we get to see a few photos from her Elle photospread PLUS we get to read a few more quotes from her Elle coverstory interview:

On being separated from husband David Beckham for six months while he was playing soccer in Milan:
“I felt like someone had chopped my arm off, to be completely honest. Everything we do, we do together. I very rarely go out on my own, unless it’s a work commitment.”

On keeping herself busy with TV while David was away:
“I’ve done Nip/Tuck, Brothers & Sisters, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice. Then I got into Gossip Girl. I’m beyond obsessed with that show.”

On the Los Angeles style of dress:
“I find it odd that people will go to a nice restaurant or to theater in jeans and T-shirts. You know, it’s great, David loves it. But it’s very different to my personal style.”

On her ever changing personal style:
“There are celebrities who always look great, always look pretty, but it’s always the same hair, the same makeup, and I find that quite boring. I want to change it up, do something really creative. I think that might be why women like me.”

On whether her look has changed since moving from England to Beverly Hills:
“I haven’t changed the way that I dress at all, which is probably why people stare a lot.”

On her rumored recent breast augmentation to a smaller size:
“We should just not talk about each other’s boobs.”

On her private family life:
“David and I have a working relationship together, and we also have a private life together. Someone used the example recently of Brad and Angelina. They might be in a movie together, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to let someone film them at home. I don’t do ‘at homes’ with my family. I don’t march my kids down red carpets. It’s just not how we choose to do things.”

On the prices of her own dresses:
“Would I think twice about buying a dress that costs $2,000? Yeah! Of course I would. I’d try it on and go home and think about it before I bought it.”

On raising her children:
“[They] bloody well will work. Same as myself, same as David. They’re not going to be the kind of kids that just hang about. I want them to be able to fulfill their passions, but I think it’s important that the children grow up and have respect for themselves.”

Far and away my favorite quote from her entire interview has to be, “We should just not talk about each other’s boobs.” LOLOLOLOL!!! She may look like a cold, unfeeling robotic animatron from planet Plastic but methinks her creators fashioned her with a pretty capable funny bone. The photos are meh. but the quotes are pretty priceless … don’t you think?

I never really cared much for her(even when I did like the spice girls) But that may be because I liked the music, and didn’t really know who was who. The more I read or watch/listen interviews with her, the more I like her. She seems really down to earth.

But I agree the ‘lets just not talk about each others boobs’ thing made me giggle.

I think she’s a very down to earth person, but God damn – that woman needs to eat a hoagie. In that first picture her jawline is so pronounced.

  11. Posh says:

I adore her, I wish we could be friends, she really is down to earth, with a fantastic sense of humor, and I love that she watches GG.

  12. Tracie says:

An augmentation means they get bigger, a downsize is a breast reduction. Just so ya know. ;)

  13. damien says:

to be honest she’s an interesting persona. she shud be on vogue and shakes things up a bit.

  14. Naomi says:

I agree damien. She seems like one sassy lady.

Tracie, augmentation doesn’t have to be enlargement :] To be technical, but yeah doesn’t usually refer to reduction.

  15. I’ve always found her hilarious. I really like her personality.

To be honest I was always sort of middle of the road about her. I think because she comes off in public as being such an ice queen. But I LOVE this interview. It was actually a very nice way to get a glimpse at what she thinks and how she sees things and to be honest it made me like her a whole lot more!

    @Naomi
The definition of augment is actually to make something greater, bigger, etc. Not to nitpick! Just sayin ;) I have, uh, something in common with Victoria.

I’m glad to see that you seem to be warming up to dear Victoria, Trent! I love her dry witty sense of humour, and I love that while she’s outrageous in some respects, she’s totally low key and a committed caring parent. I totally respect her.
