Lost In Space

Yesterday was another fun day here in very sunny San Francisco, CA. Early in the afternoon while running some errands at Walgreen’s, I was able to meet Pink reader Nicole and her friend in the beauty aisle (natch). Nicole is visiting SF from Australia and we took this cute pic:

Please don’t mind the Lee’s Press-On Nails behind us ;) Isn’t she a cutie? She was very lovely to meet and I’m so happy she sent in our photo :)

David and I met up with our friend Molly and her friend Becky (who write for Pop Sugar and Buzz Sugar, respectively) for drinks at the Clock Bar in Union Square, which was lots of fun … especially as the drinks kept comin’ and comin’. David, Aram and I finally decided to venture out to see a movie (since we’ve been talking about it for the last 3 days) and decided to see Pandorum:

Honestly, the movie wasn’t that great … but the story premise was pretty good and we were entertained for about an hour and a half so it was deffo worth seeing. Cam Giganet is in the film but not enough. Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster were pretty good in their roles … but the movie isn’t very strong. I found the ending very satisfying so all in all, I enjoyed it.

Tonight is the big night. David and I are going to be at Kylie Minogue’s FIRST concert performance of her FIRST North American Tour ever … I’m sooooooo excited. I did see her perform in London at the O2 Arena last year but being able to see her in such an intimate setting here in the States is a long-held dream of mine … I cannot wait!! I’ll do my best to tweet from the show and bring as many photos as I can tomorrow. Woot!!

hmm. premise of movie sounded great… until dennis quaid was mentioned. i don’t have anything against him… except that he picks crappy movies! which meant this was bound to be crappy! bummer!

Dear Trent, I love that you take pics with your fans! I am a Texas girl headed to San Fran tomorrow to see the new American Idiot musical in Berkley starring Tony winner John Gallagher Jr. It’s also directed by the same man who did Spring Awakening. I only mention this because I think ya’ll should check the show out before (fingers crossed) it moves to Broadway! Also, you should know that my all my friends in Texas and I follow you religiously. Since they know we’ll be in San Fran at the same time, I’ve been ordered to carry their pics with me in case I run into you so that they too can be included in a Trent pic. I’m praying our paths crossed. You should get tickets to the show tomorrow. ONLY 20 BUCKS!
