In July we learned that married couple LeAnn Rimes and Deane Sherement were dunzo after it was widely reported that she engaged in an extra-marital affair with her co-star Eddie Cibrian earlier this year. Yesterday, LeAnn made the split official by announcing on her official website that she and hubby Dean are, in fact, divorcing:

“After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support – it is deeply appreciated.”
Well ain’t that nice of her to keep her fans in the loop about this development in her personal life. I noted that LeAnn has a section devoted to PHOTOS on her official site and check it out to see what personal photos are on display of her and her ex-husband, now “committed and caring friend” Deane. It turns out that all photos that feature LeAnn and Dean have been removed from the site (save for a small thumbnail photo of the couple under the heading “Miscellaneous”) but a new photo of LeAnn and her rumored paramour Eddie Cibrian has been “Just Added”:
Considering LeAnn and Eddie went public with their relationship last week when new photos of the pair on a golfing date came to light, the switching of Deane‘s photos for Eddie‘s photos shouldn’t be too surprising. While it is sad when any marriage falls apart, I think it’s especially sad when divorce comes on the heels of such public cheating. Sheremet is much better off without his cheating wife … here’s hoping he finds true happiness one day.

Their relationship will not be the stuff that makes a 50 yr marriage – they will grow tired of each other now that they are free to be together. I think he’s more at fault – he was happily married w/kids.
Personally I don’t think people should stay in unhappy marriages, but there is a way to end a marriage and it is not by having an affair, when you have children you have to consider them first and Eddie has not thought about them. Eddie has always cheated, it is a well known fact. Last year Leann renewed her vows and within month cheated, if she was so unhappy why renew your vows. But the most irriating thing is all the lies, in the beginning Eddie said ” Leann and I are just friends, we went to Dinner together, that’s it. The most ridiculoous thing is that people believe I would do something like this period…much less do it in a public place.
Wow, this is all so wrong and tasteless the way these new pics are being paraded around. You don’t pilfer someone else’s spouse and there is nothing good that can come of this. It’s a shame that children are involved too. LeAnn used to be respectable. She became famous young and got married young and you never heard anything Lindsay Lohan or Britney-like about her. Until now. What a shame.

There’s still a lot of personal pictures with her and Dean. And yes, it does take two hands to clap, Rae! Haha!
@ Trent: not saying the man isnt to blame either. Just that in most cases, it’s usually the woman who gets blamed before the man. And most articles are making her to the bigger of the bad guy rather then him.(mho) Both parties are ugly/jerks/ho’s/etc for doing it. Either way, cheating is wrong * completely disrespectful and what I’ve learned from my expierence is that when I date someone, I make a point of saying I wont tolerate cheatng & if you want to stray, thats all fine, but then tell me first so we can both get out with our dignity intacked.
