First we saw Sarah Jessica Parker‘s Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw rockin’ an outdated 80′s look and then we saw Kim Cattrall‘s SaTC character Samantha Jones rockin’ an 80′s look and today we get to see that Kristin Davis as Charlotte Yorke and Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes also got in on the fun. Here are a few amazingly fun photos of SJP doing her best Madonna and Kristin lookin’ about as preppy as you’d imagine of her Charlotte character:

OMG … I love these photos. I think pretty much everyone is in agreement that these scenes will be used in the film as flashback scenes, despite the fact that none of the ladies (who I love) look that much younger despite the outdated outfits they are wearing. Nonetheless, these 80′s flashback scenes look like they are going to be a hoot. If you think these photos of Carrie and Charlotte are fun, wait ’til you see what Miranda looked like in the 80′s — after the jump, find out …

LOL!! Poor Miranda! As you can see, she was a harried and lowly law clerk back in the 80′s with massive shoulder pads and heinous haircut in place. But, to offset Miranda‘s insane geekiness, here are a couple photos of what she will look like in the fashionable present:

Seriously, I’m dying from all this Sex and the City-ness. Love, love, love that the sequel film is being made right now. I’ve been staying away from reading any spoilers about the plot so don’t expect to see them here (well, at least without a warning). Seeing these photos is one thing, reading about the movie plot is quite another.

I love these flashbacks! Charlotte looks sort of Jackie O’ish,….I love the hair they gave Miranda. And the super cheap, ill fitting suit since shes not making as much as she does now. Can’t wait!
I guess they can iron out the stars’ wrinkles, etc. in editing to make them appear younger in the flashback scenes. I’m loving seeing what they may have looked like in their rookie sex days.
OMG!!!!! I LOVE THE MUSHROOM CUT!!! My best friend had that EXACT hair in kindergarten! HA!
I think Cynthia Nixon is the most beautiful of the women, thanks for the great pics of her….she is my favorite!!
OMG love the flash back photos, I love how they added each famous fashions of the 80′s for each character.
Nothing screams 80′s in NYC like powersuits and sneakers! LOVE IT!
No offense but those clothes are so fug….why did they have to make 80s fashion look this bad!?
Umm @V – maybe cause it was THAT bad?!?! And I lived thru it and wore the tragic threads myself! LOL
Love Love Love this stuff too – can not wait for the movie to come out!!!!!!!!!
I can’t wait for the flashbacks!! Perfect timing anyways since the 80′s is back!!
OMG her hair! Her shoes! That is so Miranda. :D

Patricia Fields must be loving this, lol. I’m glad they didn’t make Miranda fashionable back in the 80′s b/c she didn’t really start getting into fashion until after a couple of seasons of the show.
80s clothes make me shudder. They were so awful! LOL I cannot wait for this movie.
I’m actually going to go with a dream sequence rather than a flashback since they’re not trying to un-age the characters. Maybe a “What if we were friends back then?” scenario or a “What if we did X instead of Y?” type thing.
@Emily — Good call, that’s a good guess.
Charlotte will be easy to dress for the 80s — just get a copy of The Preppy Handbook. As for Miranda, she needs to be wearing bow ties or it’s not for reals.
This may be far fetched, but they used CGI to “un-age” Brad Pitt for the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, maybe they will do that to them??? Just a thought
Is it just me or does Carrie look better in 80′s esque clothes as opposed to her normal attire? Sad. It looks great!
@ Emily, I hope you’re right. I hate the idea of a flashback. I don’t want to know how the women met, it’s irrelevant to the series (and the movies too), just as I don’t want to see their families. The “story” is essentially about 4 women, who are great friends and become their own family.
OMG my mom looked JUST Miranda that in the 80s and I was a Carrie look-alike wannabe. How tragic.
SO much fun! I can’t wait either!
how is it that carrie’s hair is bigger in present day than it was in the 80s?!
