Come on, people, you really think just because a so-called “source” makes a statement, that it’s written on tablets of stone? Any writeup can claim “source” information, and who knows if it’s the pinhead sitting at the desk next to his? Way too much speculation is going into how this is being handled, when in truth, Jude knows what he’s doing and we don’t, all we have to go on is an anemic little statement from a “source,” and we’re ready with our knives. Give the guy a break….he’s a great father to Rafferty, Iris, and Rudy, and this one will be no different, unless of course the mother uses her as a weapon to jerk around and control the father, like mother’s tend to do sometimes. And Trent…..please, illegitimate? What century are you in? In this day and time, are we okay with such labels? My half sister back in the day was, I’m sure, considered “illegitimate,” particularly since her mother was catholic. I didn’t know her until I was an adult, but to me, she isn’t illegitimate, she is my sister. So are children adopted by gay men illegitimate? Children of mother’s who go to sperm banks and want to be single parents? I would have thought you were more evolved than that.

@ Catherine- was that meant for me? I guess I have a different view on matters such as this, but to me sleeping with a man(or a famous man as this situation seems)when just meeting him is what I think being ‘easy’ is. But hey if they knew each other for a couple of months, and this wasn’t just from a one night stand, and just after meeting one another. Then I take back my words about her being easy :)

I am seriously not trying to be catty, but in the few pictures I have seen of this woman, she looks so much older than 24 to me. In fact in one that was more close up, I thought she had the skin of someone 40+ and at first thought “Good for Jude, dating an older woman!” How is she a model? Maybe it was just a bad picture….

Oh it is really nice to know that you people have already comdemned Jude for being a shitty father when you do not even know what he plans to do. Just because a “source” said he is not involved all of you immediately jump to the conclusion that he will never even make an attempt to see his child.

He is a lvong parent to his 3 kids. I doubt very much that he would just abandon this child even if he does not like the mother. Can we at least wait till we know in fact what his relations with the child will be?

That poor baby girl. Its sad to think about the emotional problems she’ll have in the future, knowing her own daddy didn’t want her. I went through a similar situation, except my mother didn’t want me, so I know what its like. When she looks around and realizes she doesn’t have a daddy because hers is a major D-Bag, her little heart will shatter. :(

I feel bad for the baby too – according to that article, other than financial support, he’s not planning on being involved. As an unplanned and unexpected baby whose father abandoned them, I can say firsthand, he’s officially a douchebag in my eyes. It’s hard not to see a baby that’s half yours anyway. He doesn’t have to have ANY contact with whatever-her-name-is. It’s just disheartening that Jude Law -a celebrity – is helping make it seem okay to impregnate someone and then completely abandon the baby. I personally would have rather had a relationship with my father than the monthly child support he provided in his absence.

The second picture is funny. I hate that this child will pretty much have to grow up knowing her mother was easy and the only reason why her mother kept her was because her father is famous. Too bad Jude just cant get custody but then I really don’t know if he would do a good job raising a child by himself. XD
