Jessica Simpson’s Dog Got Snatched Away By Coyotes
Uh oh! More bad news for poor Jessica Simpson. According to Jess herself, her little pooch Daisy was snatched away by coyotes apparently “in front of [her] eyes” and she is now asking for folks to help her find her missing dog. I kinda hate to break it to Jess but, if coyotes really did run off with her dog, she ain’t gonna find the little pooch in one piece. Here is the Missing Dog poster that Jessica is distributing in the hopes of finding Daisy along with the full text of her tweet message posted on her official Twitter profile:

My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!
I’m not exactly sure what kind of help she is hoping to get from people. Coyotes who are brazen enough to snatch away dogs right in front of humans are not the kind of animals that are likely to let those animals live for long once they snatch them away. It sucks that Jessica is holding out so much hope for Daisy’s return since she’s already suffered so much disappointment in life but methinks that Daisy has already made her way to that shining dog kennel in the sky. I suppose there is always room for hope and I sincerely do hope that Jessica will be reunited with her beloved pet but … I got strong feeling in my gut that that scenario is very unlikely to happen :(

How horrific to witness. I feel for Jessica.
September 15th, 2009 at 7:55 am
So horrible! Poor Jessica :(.
September 15th, 2009 at 8:15 am
Yes, that dog is gone.
September 15th, 2009 at 8:18 am
This is sssooo heartbreaking. I can’t imagine how she must feel. She really seemed to love Daisy. :(
September 15th, 2009 at 8:18 am
T.T That’s terrible, especially if she did see her dog taken away by the Coyotes. I remember when I lived in California, there was a big problem with them getting into people’s yard and taking their pets.
It must be really painful for her, since I’m sure she saw her dog as her child(or something close). So loosing her in such a way, ack I don’t even want to think about something like that. If it had been an bigger breed of a dog, or something then I’m sure it may have had a fighting chance against Coyotes. Sadly a dog that small ….

I notice she was able to put her grief aside long enough to create a clever gmail account
September 15th, 2009 at 8:22 am
OMG, that is AWFUL. If something happened to my dog like that I would be devestated. Speaking from experience, my dog has been by my side through it all, just like her dog has. You form a bond with your animals that is so strong. Daisy was the one constant in her life besides her family she could count on.
My heart goes out to her and to anyone else who is mourning the loss of a pet right now.

Well what kind of “coyote” was it? Dog or Human?? If it was the dog then there’s no chance of it coming back. Human, just depends on the price.
September 15th, 2009 at 8:42 am
What a cute dog! Very sad, but I highly doubt Jess will see Daisy in one piece again either.
September 15th, 2009 at 8:44 am
This dog has been in her life for so long..It’s like losing a family member..I don’t wish that pain on anyone..Poor Jessica.. :(
September 15th, 2009 at 8:46 am
Poor doggie!!! I don’t think there will be a positive outcome to this story. I just hope the poor thing didn’t suffer too much. Jessica has been having a bad few months!
September 15th, 2009 at 8:49 am
Wasn’t Daisy the dog that Nick Lachey gave her when they were doing their Reality TV Show? If so, that would probably be the last remnants of my hopes for them to get back together again. *le sigh*
September 15th, 2009 at 8:55 am
People who don’t have a pet or if they never had one, probally won’t understand how hard it is to lose a dog/cat/etc, let alone it be snatched right before your eyes! she is probally hoping the coyote decided not to eat the dog, or attack it, and is hoping the dog is probally just hurt, but survived. this is really sad, because i can’t ever imagine this happening to one of my pets.
September 15th, 2009 at 9:02 am
You wouldn’t hold out any hope, Trent? Are you a dog owner? Because to have your pet taken away from you like that, without knowing what could have happened, you have to have hope. It’s like losing a child. I feel so bad for Jessica and I completely understand her twitter message, poster, etc.
September 15th, 2009 at 9:05 am
@Angie — Look, I realize that she has to hope but coyotes mean serious biz … I doubt Daisy will be found ;(
September 15th, 2009 at 9:22 am
Yeah, nobody should have to see their dog attacked by a coyote. So sad.
September 15th, 2009 at 9:47 am
That’s so sad. Glad she still has some hope for Daisy. It’s tough to lose a pet you’ve raised who is there for you unconditionally.
Love you Jess!
September 15th, 2009 at 9:50 am
This is a joke right!? Or is this all apart of their “Im a dumb blonde” scheme!?
If a wild animal ran off with your dog, especially one that small, you wont be seeing that dog again.
sry Jess

That poor poochie!! So sorry for both of them…My dog went missing once and we searched all day and night. Ended up he was hit by a car and no one called it in until the next day. That was one of the worst days ever. You hold out hope and pray even though the odds are against you. Sometimes you get lucky, but other times, it just doesn’t happen. When I got to the shelter to post a flyer, they told me my dog was just brought in. I had to call my bf at the time and we had to id him together. He was a beautiful dog, i just feel so sorry for Jess. I know how she feels in a way.

“caramel.” fyi, jess.
September 15th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
Poor girl!! That is so sad. And yes, most times things like this end up bad, but can you blame them for trying to get the dog back? I think it would be a heartless dog owner that would just throw up their hands and be done with it.
September 15th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
That’s sad, but coyotes arent going to read that poster and say “alright guys, that was funny enough but we gotta return daisy before we end up on nancy grace”
September 15th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
How sad. That poor girl has the shittiest things happen to her! That poor dog. Damn.
September 15th, 2009 at 1:56 pm
So sad, this just happened to someone I know and it’s tragic. I feel for her.
September 15th, 2009 at 2:06 pm
@sarah: haha! I noticed that too!! :)
September 15th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
Who the hell cares if she spelled “caramel” the right way. She just watched her dog get snatched away by a coyote. And as for the remark about her putting her grief aside long enough to make a “clever” gmail account- Wow. Do you have any compassion? I can’t imagine the death of my dog, let alone watching him get snatched by a coyote right in front of me. That little dog doesn’t stand a chance and it’s a shame :(
September 15th, 2009 at 2:44 pm
@angie As someone who both has a child & has also lost a pet I can tell you that losing a pet is most definitely NOT like losing a child. I think anyone who has ever actually lost a child wouldn’t appreciate the comparison. That being said, this is very sad & I don’t doubt that she’s probably feeling very awful.
September 15th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
I got a feeling the dog is gone =(
September 15th, 2009 at 3:24 pm
Only something like this would happen to Jessica! This seems so weird and so… sad. Didn’t Nick buy that dog for her? I think I remember it on Newlyweds. This is quite sad. I wouldn’t know what I would do if my poor Schnauzer got snatched away by coyotes… but then again I live in the city.
September 15th, 2009 at 4:42 pm
angie why would you give trent shit about suggesting the dog is not coming back from coyotes? the dog is not coming back, and esp not based on a flyer. she didnt get taken by Wile E Coyote.
September 15th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
You have to be a special kind of stupid to hold out any hope that a small dog carried away in a coyote’s mouth will survive. And yes, I’m a pet owner. That doesn’t mean I’m lacking a brain.
September 15th, 2009 at 7:01 pm
(Different Angie then the other one that posted earlier)
Methinks that Jess is going to start turning to fast food and bloating again. Where the heck was she that she has coyotes running loose in front of her? I hope Ash doesn’t leave her to watch Bronx! Yikes Shaggy!!
September 15th, 2009 at 7:34 pm
Preach Jamie!
September 15th, 2009 at 7:51 pm
http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20304750,00.html maybe by “coyote” Jessica meant “Spencer Pratt”
we know where she is!! she’s at the Speidi lair!!!
September 15th, 2009 at 8:01 pm
oh god, i literally felt sick when i read this because i cant even BEGIN to imagine seeing my little dog be snatched away. poor jessica!!
September 15th, 2009 at 8:03 pm
THAT IS SOOOOO SAD! Poor Jessica – you can’t blame her for attempting to do whatever she can incase Daisy has survived. I feel soooo bad for her, it truly is like losing a child..in such a grotesque/violent way..really tragic :(
September 15th, 2009 at 8:05 pm
Sadness.
September 15th, 2009 at 10:48 pm
I’m kind of interested to know where she was to see her dog snatched up by a coyote. I live in an area where there’s quite a few of them and they typically don’t go after dogs around here.
September 16th, 2009 at 4:30 am
too bad it didn’t eat her.
September 16th, 2009 at 7:35 am
Is this karma? These things keep happening to her…
September 16th, 2009 at 11:14 am
There’s a difference between hope and plain delusion. I fear that she may be bordering on the latter, considering the circumstances. Maybe she is slightly in shock over it? I know I would be. We have coyotes around our house and that’s why we don’t let our cat out, to avoid these things from happening.
On another note, I didn’t realize that members of the dog family ate eachother.
September 16th, 2009 at 12:06 pm
@ Meagan- I agree she is probably in shock/upset over it. I think they would eat each other if they needed to in order to survive :) I mean I don’t think they really will be picky when they are starving their only thoughts were probably ‘its small and meat-an easy kill not much hassle’
September 16th, 2009 at 6:21 pm
DID YOU KNOW THAT PATRICK SWAYZE DIED???? SLIGHTLY MORE NEWSWORTHY THAN JESSICA SIMPSON’S DOG
September 16th, 2009 at 9:34 pm
@Suzanne — OMG WHAT?????? OH WAIT, I THINK I READ ABOUT IT HERE: http://www.pinkisthenewblog.com/2009/09/patrick-swayze-passes-away-at-57/
September 29th, 2009 at 2:41 pm
:”[!!!!!!! I FEEL BAD FOR HER!!!! IF THAT WOULD HAPPEN TO MY DOG I WOULD BE SOOOOOO SAD AND DEPRESSED HOPEFULLY SHE’S STILL ALIVE!
