Last night David and I met up with our friend Ben to attend a performance by Natalie Joy Johnson (currently touring with Legally Blonde: The Musical) and Our Lady J at the Upright Cabaret at The Vermont in Los Feliz, CA. Ben directed the show, Natalie sang some songs and Lady J accompanied on piano:
It was a marvelously, fabulous night of entertainment. We had a blast!!! I’m not big on cabaret shows but last night was a lot of fun.
Tonight, I’m meeting up with my friend Tony who I’ve enlisted to help me with my upcoming interview with Trent Reznor at the close of the Wave Goodbye Tour later on this week. Things are coming along nicely but I’m still lookin’ for good questions to ask TR about the tour and touring in general. Was the venue small or did you just have good seats? I like smaller venues better; it can make the whole experience that much better!!

Ahhhh! I love Natalie Joy!! She’s A-MA-zing! I had the pleasure of hanging out with her when she was leaving the Broadway Cast of “Blonde” as my friend was in the cast with her. She’s immensely talented and a total hoot. What did she sing for her Cabaret, Trent?
