i love slapstick! favorite vonnegut book. the short story anthologies (welcome to the monkey house, bagombo snuff box, etc.) are really good intros to his oeuvre for the uninitiated (that’s where i started). enjoy!

vonnegut is the king! cat’s cradle and slaughterhouse five are must-reads, and mother night too. in fact, just read everything – you will be a better man for it. seriously.

Kurt Vonnegut is amazing! Check out Welcome to the Monkey House. It’s a collection of short stories by him. Some of them are a bit weird and kind of boring but the rest, like Harrison Burgeron and Welcome to the Monkey House, are superb!

i love good omens and everything kurt vonnegut, both are excellent writers. i have a tattoo from good omens on my back and a tattoo from slaughterhouse 5 on my chest, how funny.

Vonnegut is excellent. Though he gave BoC a D when he graded it himself, it’s still one of my favorites.

his short stories collections (try welcome to the monkey house) are also amazing for anyone with less of an attention span :)

Kurt Vonnegut is my hero – Breakfast of Champions is good, but not his strongest work. Check out Cat’s Cradle, Sirens of Titan, Slaughterhouse Five or Slapstick (his best, in my opinion). :)
