Ed Westwick, star of Gossip Girl and owner of interesting tattoo artwork, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Arena Homme + magazine … sans shirt … behold:
Thus far, only Ed‘s Arena Homme + coverphoto has made its way to the Internets … but one hopes that the rest of the photospread will be just as shirtless and hairy. Altho it’s only one photo, I think it gives us something to look forward to … yes?

He is soooo the next person to play James Bond. I can totally see it in ten years. “The name is Bass. Chuck Bass.” = “The name is Bond. James Bond.”
The pose is really awkward in my opinion.
I don’t get it with this guy. He’s too smarmy all the time and the he looks kind of neanderthal in this pic. Funnily enough i agree with Liz that he’d make a good James Bond! Perfect amount of smarm.

He’s hot. Smarmy, but hot. I don’t think he’s gay, but who knows? He definitely has that whole euro-metro thing going on… He has the chiseled features, pompadour, and accent, but then the chest hair, tats, and thick neck. Just like… what’s that? Oh yeah! James Bond!
P.S. It is the chiseled features that are hot…. the chest hair is only acceptable if you are built like Hugh Jackman, which Westwick most definitely is not. Yet.

I agree completely with AmyM – definitely something awkwardly Neanderthal about that pose. I know he’s cute, theoretically, but I just started watching Gossip Girl recently, and it took about 5 episodes before I could actually stand to look at him- I found the smarminess unbearable. Strangely, I really don’t like English accents at all, but I find him *less* annoying when he isn’t speaking like an American!

oh how i wish ‘chuck bass’ was british as well… imagine how smarmingly fabulous he’d be then!! honestly i couldn’t stand him in the beginning of GG and thought his clothes were ridiculous (pastel bow ties and argyle knee socks? hello?)… but boy oh boy did he grow on me . rawr. gay or straight or whatever who cares <3
his head looks disproportionately large in this, well, most, pictures. i don’t see the appeal here, not attractive to me. oh well.
