Now that Britney Spears has completed the second North American leg of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears and she has a few weeks to go until she takes her show down under to Australia in November, it seems that Brit has a lot of time to go shopping … particularly at Target. Now, don’t get me wrong, Target is one of my fave stores … and clearly it’s one of Brit Brit‘s as well. On a shopping excursion to her nearest Target store yesterday, Britney picked up a new cd by the late Michael Jackson … she was so excited to have it, she couldn’t even wait until she bought it to tear into the packaging:
This kind of behavior is normal in grocery stores … you intend to buy a bundle of grapes so you eat some of them while walking around the store, for example. I’ve never felt the need to open up a compact disc while I was still in the store (particularly because you cannot listen to the disc once you get it open) but I suppose it makes sense in Britney‘s world. I expect we’ll be seeing our dear Britney out and about in the coming weeks now that she’s relatively settled down in LA again … I wonder where she’ll pop up next.

2. She walked right to her car after opening this so I guess she wanted to listen to it right away so it does make sense that she opened it in the store because Jesus knows it takes forever to get all that shit off of your cd.

I think your grape example is faulty, because (in my experience), grapes are a certain price/lb – so if you eat 10 grapes walking around, that’s 10 less grapes that get weighed when you get to the cash, and thus 10 less grapes to pay for. Which might be like, $0.17! Sounds like thievery.
Whereas if you opened up, say, a box of crackers (which have a set price per box), you’re still paying full price for what you’ve consumed pre-check out.

@Heather when I used to work at a grocery store, it drove me insane when I watched people eat half their grapes then pay for the rest! That’s like eating one of your apples then just paying for the 3 or 4 left…
Though most people don’t realize it. It’s just a grape to them. So I never really did anything, because it’s not like they know that they’re “stealing”
Whenever my dad and I go grocery shopping, he’ll taste everything in the fruit and vegetable area! He’ll pop one grape, two grape, or even cherries into his mouth. I get so embarrassed. He’ll just say he’s “tasting it before he buys it” which makes sense but it’s so sillay. Anyways, I love me some Britney and despite the hole in her dress AND that red lipstick she’s almost normal. <3 herrrr

It is amazing with all the fame and fortune , Britney is her old normal self and has not changed. she shops Target, gets her own coffee, etc. Gotta love this girl.
