Angelina Jolie Takes Her Toothless Children Toy Shopping
Angelina Jolie, who is in France with her children these days, was spotted taking 3 of her brood for a shopping trip to Toys R Us in Toulon, France this week. Ange was seen in the company of Pax Thien, Zahara Marley and Shiloh Nouvel (who was dressed as a jaunty pirate) and they were all lookin’ cute as can be. The eldest and youngest of these kids, Pax and Shiloh, were showing off their missing baby teeth which just pushed the cuteness level into overload … behold:
The tooth fairy is going to be busy in the Jolie-Pitt household, with two of Angelina and Brad’s children missing front teeth. Pax, 5, and Shiloh, 3, were spotted grinning gummily as they accompanied their mother Jolie and sister Zahara, 4, to a toy store in France. And with Shiloh seemingly dressed for battle … The little girl is young to already be losing her milk teeth but as she is turning into a tomboy, perhaps it’s not surprising. The couple’s eldest biological daughter seems to be mimicking dad Brad Pitt in a brown checked trilby on her blonde locks and with a sword tucked through her belt. She also wore a Peter Pan waistcoat with a special holster for the sword, combat trousers and boots. Zahara, however, has her mother’s style down perfectly, wearing a long purple skirt and white vest top with bright orange shoes. They were on their way to Toys ‘R Us in Toulon, France, for some new toys. All the children are said to be fluent in English but are reportedly learning to speak French. Oldest son Maddox was with Brad Pitt in New York, while twins Vivienne and Knox were presumably at home under the watchful eye of a nanny.
OMGSOCUTE! I am just amazed at how big these kids have grown! Seriously, wasn’t golden child Shiloh Nouvel just born like last week … and now she’s all old enough to be losing her teeth and dressing like a pirate? So cute. It’s been some time since we’ve seen the Brangelina kiddies out and about … I suppose they’ve been bizzy with school and whatnot. We rarely see the baby twins (who just turned 1 this past July 12) at all. No matter … it’s always a treat to see these kiddies out in public. They just keep getting cuter and cuter.

You are right Sarah. Children do lose their first baby teeth between 5-6 years old. How old is Shiloh? Two or three maybe! She must have had a fall or an accident. Poor little thing. Still adorable anyway!

She does seem a little young to already be losing her teeth..I hope she didn’t fall and knock it out, long wait to grow the permanent tooth back in..It’s cute, but still so little only 3..She’s beautiful though, just like her daddy!

She def fell and knocked it out. It happened to my son when he was 3, he had to wait until he was 6 for ti to grow back!!!!! You will be seeing that same missing tooth for some time….

This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that Angelina constantly parades Zahara with her hair looking unwashed and uncombed. I am embarrassed for Zahara. Black hair care is very important, unless she wants Zahara to be bald when she gets older. I need Ms. Jolie to realize, she cannot wash and leave Zahara’s hair alone like Shiloh. No little girl’s hair in my neighborhood ever looked that unkempt and we had about 10000x less money than the Jolie-Pitts. I really wish she would consult a multi-cultural beautician.

That being said… Shiloh is looking more and more like Brad… very cute!

@ Jenn – “John” is Shiloh. When he was on Oprah, Brad talked about how Shiloh is obsessed with Peter Pan and will only answer to the names “John” or “Michael” right now. Kids are so funny! Also – some sites are saying she is not missing a tooth but that it is blacked out as part of her costume – if you look closely at the picture, this could be true. It looks pretty black there, not pink like the rest of her gums/mouth. Anywho – cute kids & Zahara’s hair is fine – lots of people are going natural now and not damaging their hair with perms or hot combs. Love how they let their kids just be… kids!

To clearify, I wasn’t advocating perms, I was advocating a comb. My hair is completely natural, so I’m not even a fan of perms or hot combs either. On other sites there are closeups of this outing of Zahara and you can clearly see the knots in her hair. Its not combed regularly. I’m black/african mix, so my hair is about as “kinky” as it comes. I understand the trials of natural hair and I was just making a point out of concern and not spite. She has knots in her hair… they’re gonna have to be cut out and that makes me sad since it was avoidable.

Why does Angelina always look like shit? And why can’t she brush Zahara’s hair? I realize Zahara’s hair texture may be hard to work with but there’s a lot of stuff you could do with it to make it look presentable. And Siloh is going to be extremely gorgeous when she grows up! Cute!

@Tricia – thanks for the post – it does look blacked out on closer examination & that would make sense w/the ‘costume’
However I don’t think it’s normal for the parents to encourage her to only answer to names that aren’t her.
That’s why the majority of Hollywood kids grow up all messed up – too loose on the parenting :(

@Chase…the whole family always looks like shit. They always look unkempt and dirty. And surely they have enough toys by now…every time you see Angelina with them she’s carting them off to the toy store. A trip to the hairdresser and dentist would probably do them more good.

Shiloh is not old enough to lose a tooth :) That happens around 6 or 7. It is VERY clearly a little piece of black wax to complete her pirate look… Good lord people… pictures are not always what they seem!

I think it’s cute that Shiloh is such a little tomboy.
As for Sahara, I wonder if it even registered to Angelina or Brad to research black/African American haircare? I have a baby fro and it honestly is very different from Caucasian haircare and many people who don’t have to deal with it naturally on a daily basis are often surprised by what goes into keeping it healthy.

She’s nurturing her child’s creativity, how is that harmful? She’s dressed fine. It’s not like it’s freezing cold outside and she has her dressed lightly a’la Tom and Katie w/ little Suri.
I do agree w/ the other posters that she should try to keep Zahara’s hair accordingly. My family is Hispanic and I have an aunt that had a baby girl w/ an African American and I know that keeping up w/ the hair is very important b/c it knots really easily. My aunt was a bit of a nutter so my immediate family watched over her daughter for a while and we would constantly brush her hair and keep it in little pig tails or corn rows with cute little bows. It takes work. To me, they’re just being lazy, and that’s sad.

Good on them for nurturing their kids imagination. When I was Shilohs age I was OBSESSED with the movie Dumbo. I had imaginary elephant friends, and would wear an elephant tail and walk around with my arm out like a trunk making elephant noises. My family found it hilarious. They had no problem walking around a shopping centre with a small child carrying on like an elephant beside them. Like all kids though, you grow out of it. Enjoy it while it lasts. The innocence of a childs imagination is a thing to be treasured.
