I’m not sure how I missed this last week but Pink reader Jay pointed me in the direction of a cute People magazine snippet about Jake Gyllenhaal and his new action/adventure film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It turns out that the folks at Lego will be releasing little dudes in conjunction with the film’s release … here is what Jakey poo will look like as Prince Dastan as a Lego character:

Dozens of celebrities have been immortalized with wax replicas at Madame Tussauds, but how many people can boast a Lego miniature action figure? Well, Jake Gyllenhaal for one. In honor of Disney’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Lego is releasing a set – including a mini-Jake figurine! – next year. The film will hit theaters May 28, 2010.

OMG … this is cute as hell. Little Lego Jake is about as cute as real life fleshy Jake is hot. This is absolutely a must own for me. Now that Reese Witherspoon has got her meat hooks into real Jake, I guess the rest of us will have to content ourselves with little Lego Jake … just make sure y’all play nice with him, tho … no naughty biz, ya hear?

Back in July we got our first look at the remake of the classic 80′s horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street and then shortly thereafter (to coincide with San Diego Comic Con) we got to see the first teaser poster from the film. Today My Space Trailer Park brings us our first look at the trailer video for the redux … here are a few screencaps:

Let’s be honest … the original Nightmare is just an untouchable classic film. There is no way any redux will ever be able to take its place or top it … so with that in mind, let’s just not expect the world from this remake. The trailer seems to have all the bases covered but … I dunno … it just doesn’t come close to the original film in my book. The new Freddie‘s voice in this redux is going to take some getting used to … I mean, I’m intrigued by this film but I’ve yet to be blown away. Jesus Luz, model, sometimes DJ and Madonna‘s latest much younger toyboy, has launched his official My Space profile just a few weeks after launching his official Twitter profile. Apparently, being Madonna‘s plaything has inspired him to get on the social networking bandwagon so that he can share his good fortune with all of his “friends”. Here is one of Jesus‘s My Space profile pics, in the guise of DJ, welcoming you to his site:

Yes, Mr. Luz tweets solely in Portuguese so I never know what the hell he’s talking about … his tweets usually come with twitpics of him DJing or with links to his DJ sets. Blah! I’m hoping he’ll start posting intimate photos with Madonna (well, not intimate intimate, I mean fun personal pics not explicit nasty pics) or something. Following his social networking sites thus far has been less than satisfying … here’s hoping Jesus steps up his game and starts sharing some good stuff. How many of y’all are planning to friend request him now?

Britney Spears ended the second leg of her North American tour, The Circus starring Britney Spears, at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV last night and by all accounts the entire tour (which took her to Europe earlier this year and will take her to Australia later this year) has been a smashing success. Before Brit Brit took to the state for one last time (here in the US), she loaded up her men (sons – Sean Preson and Jayden James, father – Jamie Spears and rumored paramour and agent – Jason Trawick) and made her way to the Sugar Factory boutique to load up on candy for her kiddies … here are a few pics:

Aww … such a cute family. I’m not sure if I totally believe the rumors that Jason and Britney aren’t together together … but I still contend they make a very nice family when they are all together.
