Kellan Lutz, who is currently residing in Vancouver, BC while he films The Twilight Saga: Eclipse with his Twilight cohorts, was spotted doing a bit of working out at a local gym this week with nary a work-out partner in sight. As you may recall, Kellan stepped out for a yoga class with Twilight castmate Peter Facinelli last week but this week the only work-out partner Kellan needed was Kellan … behold:

Can I get a Hawt Damn?! I can’t say that I can honestly blame Kellan for working out with himself … I mean, look at him. If I were him there would be a lotta things that I’d do with myself … all the time ;) Homie is gettin’ big in the muscles department … and I wholly approve. Yummo!!

Robbie Williams, who has a new album on the way and a new single called Bodies on the airwaves, was spotted making a grand exit from his hotel in Paris, France this week while wearing a silk robe and while wielding a pink light saber … behold:

I’m not sure what the kimono + light saber ensemble has to do with … well … anything … but I suppose it just goes along with Robbie’s kooky nature. The music video for his new single is pretty cool … it’s great to have him back on the scene … not that anyone in the US even knows who he is, mind you … but at least I’m happy to see him back in the spotlight again … light saber and all.

Former American Idol judge but Forever Your Girl Paula Abdul was spotted leaving her hotel here in NYC yesterday as she made her way to the Brooklyn Academy of Music for the VH1 Divas event last night … as you can see, she was wielding a fairly sizable spirit stick … behold:

As a former cheerleader, it makes sense that Paula would be schooled in the use of a twirling baton but I’m not sure why she needs to carry it with her in public. Perhaps she felt the need to drive away the hordes of fans and paparazzi who were trying to get near her or, oh right, mebbe she’s just crazy. All in all, tho, I have to give it up for her for handing her replacement on American Idol so well. She really shot herself in the foot by playing hardball with AI during negotiations … and now all she’s left with his her spirit stick. At least no one can take her stick away from her.

Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs aren’t the only celeb couple showing off their new child today, happily marrieds Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley are also showing off the newest addition to their family. Katherine and Josh recently adopted a little girl they named Nancy Leigh, who they call Naleigh, and are happily showing her off to the world today:

Hollywood actress Katherine Heigl has issued the first photo of her newly-adopted daughter. The intimate picture shows the 30-year-old star in a close, loving embrace with husband, Josh Kelley, and 10-month-old Nancy Leigh, or ‘Naleigh’. Naleigh is a special needs baby, born in South Korea and she is named after Katherine’s mother Nancy and sister, Margaret Leigh. An insider told American magazine Us Weekly the fact that Katherine’s new baby has special needs will not be an issue. The insider said: ‘They are thrilled to have a child in their lives, no matter what the challenges.’ At this stage it is not quite clear exactly what Naleigh’s special needs are. Katherine completed the adoption of her new daughter this week after revealing she was soon to be a mother on Ellen DeGeneres’ chat show just last week. She revealed Naleigh’s special needs actually made the adoption process much quicker. Katherine told Ellen: ‘She is a special needs baby and because of that, it all moved so much faster. ‘They wanted to get her to us as quickly as possible.’ Heigl’s own sister was also adopted from Korea, and she said it’s something she had always wanted to do. In fact, the Knocked Up star admitted she was so set on adoption that she even made sure hubby Josh was ok with adoption before they were engaged. She said: ‘I just wanted to make sure that I was marrying a guy who understood that that was going to have to happen.’ Her spokesperson said: ‘Katherine, Josh and Naleigh are together and doing well.’

What a beautiful story … it’s always a joy to see new parents united with new children, whether those children are born or adopted into their new families. You can just see the love emanating in this happy family photo (even without all the added pink hearts). Much congrats and love goes out to Katherine and Josh on the addition of their new daughter! May they all enjoy a long and very happy lifetime of bliss together :)

Earlier this month we learned that happily marrieds Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs welcomed the birth of their first child, a boy named Walker Nathaniel … and today we get our first look at the 2 week old little darling … behold:

Is he a Broadway baby in the making? Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel offered fans a glimpse of son Walker, 2 weeks, in a family portrait released Tuesday. Walker – the first child for the Rent stars – was born on Sept. 2. Menzel and Diggs, both 38, met while starring in the 1996 Broadway production of Rent. They wed in January 2003.

What a beautiful baby boy … and a gorgeous family! A baby born of such talented stock is sure to be a sensation when he’s all grown up. Much, much love and congrats goes out to the happy family. While I realize that little Walker is only 2 weeks old, I hope Idina and Taye are planning on making more babies … cuz it’d be a shame if the world was gifted with only one adorable Menzel-Diggs baby. Sooooo cute!!

Another day, another clothing line designed by a celebrity … in today’s instance, we get word that Harry Potter starlet and frosh student at Brown University this Fall Emma Watson has signed on to design her own line of clothing which will be called Love From Emma for a company called People Tree. Here are a few deets from Teen Vogue magazine about Ms. Watson’s new line of clothes:

I suppose if Lauren LC Conrad can design a line of clothes for Kohl’s here in the States then why shouldn’t Emma Watson be allowed to design a line of clothes for People Tree in the EU. Both of these lines have to be better (ie. of greater quality) than the line of clothes “designed” by Miley Cyrus for Wal-Mart. Something tells me that this fad of celebrity clothing designs won’t be dying down anytime soon … at least a collection associated with Emma Watson doesn’t seem as cheap as most of the celebrity collections out there … I think her Britishness helps ;)

Yesterday we learned from Life & Style magazine that married couple of 3 years, Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley, have split up and in the wake of that report comes official confirmation of the split from Ms. Lavigne herself. Avril posted a short message on her official website yesterday confirming the fact that she Deryck are separating … so bust out the sporks, y’all … cuz these two are really, truly dunzo:

I guess I just don’t understand the need to be married at such a young age … even tho many people enjoy happy and successful marriages after marrying young, I can’t help but feel that your late teens/early 20s should be about personal discovery rather than settling down with one person in contractual matrimony. This is not to knock those who choose to marry young, I’m just saying that I don’t personally understand it. I cannot comment on the “regular folk” who get married young but I can comment on the young celebs who marry and it just always seems like a bad idea to me. Granted, Avril and Deryck “were together” for 6 1/2 years, she is now a divorcée at 24 … 24!!!! Well … I wish both Avril and Deryck the best of luck from here on out … mebbe their future marriages will be more successful.
