Lindsay Lohan showed up at The Roxy nightclub on the Sunset Strip here in LA, CA last night to lend her support for an event that was DJed by Benji Madden and featured musical performances by others. For the special event, L. Lo decided to wear a very nice jacket … and no pants … cuz when you’re Lindsay Lohan, you don’t need no pants to have a good time:

Chris Brown, who is currently in his homestate of Virginia paying for his conviction for brutally assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna, has posted a message on his official Twitter profile alerting fans to the fact that he has completed work on his new album titled Graffiti. But, will anyone be buying it when it gets released? Here is our first look at the (possibly fan-made) album artwork for Graffiti and the full text of Chris’s tweet message:

GRAFFITI!!!! COMIN SOON…. JUST FINISHED IT…HANDS DOWN … MY BEST ALBUM… THATS ALL IMA GIVE AWAY RIGHT NOW..

I sincerely hope this album artwork isn’t the real final mock and is just a fan-made creation cuz the word Graffiti is misspelled. To be honest, I was never a big Chris Brown fan before he revealed himself to be a brutal little monster, so I can pretty much assure you I won’t be picking up this album whenever it gets released. I don’t know that Chris Brown will have much success in the wake of his assault conviction but I suspect there are still many who will support his career, regardless of his brutal actions.

Yesterday was a totally awesomely chill day … I did pretty much nothing. David and his parents went biking in Santa Monica, CA and I opted to stay home and do my mounds of laundry and ended up not doing any laundry at all. We all spent the evening/night together watching movies and just generally hanging out. It’s been really fun having the parentals with us this weekend. They’re planning on hiking today, I’ve got Nine Inch Nails at The EchoPlex to get to:

Tonight’s show was originally supposed to be the LAST show but due to Trent Reznor’s illness and subsequent rescheduling of dates, the final show will be next Thursday September 10 at The Wiltern. TR graciously agreed to move our scheduled interview to that date, so I’ll be conducting our interview next week. That means I still have a few more days to figure out the questions I’ll be asking about the Wave Goodbye Tour and NIN touring in general. It’s been about a hot minute since last we checked in on Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt who miraculously got back together earlier this Summer after breaking up after a spat a SoCal nightclub in the Spring. When last we saw Pug Dilton here on the blog, they were quietly vacationing in the tropics and have, also miraculously, been keeping a semi-low profile. BUT, Pug Dilton surfaced publicly this weekend in Venice, Italy to make an appearance on the red carpet at the 66th Annual Venice International Film Festival for the premiere of The Bad Lieutenant … behold:

From what I understand, Pug Dilton were only in Venice for a short while … they did some sightseeing and then attended this premiere and are now on their way back home to LA. It’s curious that they would fly all the way to Venice for just one premiere, particularly since a cursory check at IMDB shows that Paris has nothing at all to do with the film. No matter, I’m just happy to see that Pug Dilton are still happily attached to one another … which means the world is safe for every one else who will be spared from either Paris or Doug’s communicable love.

At long last, the much talked about Green Hornet movie helmed by Michel Gondry but written for the screen by Seth Rogen (who also stars as Britt Reid/The Green Hornet in the film), has started filming here in Los Angeles, CA. Here are a few photos of Rogen with co-star Cameron Diaz (who plays Lenore Casey Case in the film) on the SoCal set of The Green Hornet yesterday afternoon:

Now, I’m not a big fan of The Green Hornet but I do love that the emphasis of this superhero story is not on superpowers (like Superman) or technical gadgetry (like Batman) but on martial arts, which is always fun for little boys. It remains to be seen how Rogen will portray The Green Hornet … methinks hes gonna try and go funny like Robert Downey, Jr. did in Iron Man but, to be honest, I’m not totally convinced he can pull it off as successfully. BUT, I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. The Green Hornet is scheduled to hit theaters in December 2010.
