Lindsay Lohan showed up at The Roxy nightclub on the Sunset Strip here in LA, CA last night to lend her support for an event that was DJed by Benji Madden and featured musical performances by others. For the special event, L. Lo decided to wear a very nice jacket … and no pants … cuz when you’re Lindsay Lohan, you don’t need no pants to have a good time:

Chris Brown, who is currently in his homestate of Virginia paying for his conviction for brutally assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna, has posted a message on his official Twitter profile alerting fans to the fact that he has completed work on his new album titled Graffiti. But, will anyone be buying it when it gets released? Here is our first look at the (possibly fan-made) album artwork for Graffiti and the full text of Chris‘s tweet message:

I sincerely hope this album artwork isn’t the real final mock and is just a fan-made creation cuz the word Graffiti is misspelled. To be honest, I was never a big Chris Brown fan before he revealed himself to be a brutal little monster, so I can pretty much assure you I won’t be picking up this album whenever it gets released. I don’t know that Chris Brown will have much success in the wake of his assault conviction but I suspect there are still many who will support his career, regardless of his brutal actions.

Yesterday was a totally awesomely chill day … I did pretty much nothing. David and his parents went biking in Santa Monica, CA and I opted to stay home and do my mounds of laundry and ended up not doing any laundry at all. We all spent the evening/night together watching movies and just generally hanging out. It’s been really fun having the parentals with us this weekend. They’re planning on hiking today, I’ve got Nine Inch Nails at The EchoPlex to get to:

Tonight’s show was originally supposed to be the LAST show but due to Trent Reznor‘s illness and subsequent rescheduling of dates, the final show will be next Thursday September 10 at The Wiltern. TR graciously agreed to move our scheduled interview to that date, so I’ll be conducting our interview next week. That means I still have a few more days to figure out the questions I’ll be asking about the Wave Goodbye Tour and NIN touring in general. It’s been about a hot minute since last we checked in on Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt who miraculously got back together earlier this Summer after breaking up after a spat a SoCal nightclub in the Spring. When last we saw Pug Dilton here on the blog, they were quietly vacationing in the tropics and have, also miraculously, been keeping a semi-low profile. BUT, Pug Dilton surfaced publicly this weekend in Venice, Italy to make an appearance on the red carpet at the 66th Annual Venice International Film Festival for the premiere of The Bad Lieutenant … behold:

From what I understand, Pug Dilton were only in Venice for a short while … they did some sightseeing and then attended this premiere and are now on their way back home to LA. It’s curious that they would fly all the way to Venice for just one premiere, particularly since a cursory check at IMDB shows that Paris has nothing at all to do with the film. No matter, I’m just happy to see that Pug Dilton are still happily attached to one another … which means the world is safe for every one else who will be spared from either Paris or Doug‘s communicable love.

At long last, the much talked about Green Hornet movie helmed by Michel Gondry but written for the screen by Seth Rogen (who also stars as Britt Reid/The Green Hornet in the film), has started filming here in Los Angeles, CA. Here are a few photos of Rogen with co-star Cameron Diaz (who plays Lenore Casey Case in the film) on the SoCal set of The Green Hornet yesterday afternoon:

Now, I’m not a big fan of The Green Hornet but I do love that the emphasis of this superhero story is not on superpowers (like Superman) or technical gadgetry (like Batman) but on martial arts, which is always fun for little boys. It remains to be seen how Rogen will portray The Green Hornet … methinks hes gonna try and go funny like Robert Downey, Jr. did in Iron Man but, to be honest, I’m not totally convinced he can pull it off as successfully. BUT, I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. The Green Hornet is scheduled to hit theaters in December 2010.

Filming continued this weekend on the NYC set of Sex and the City 2 and today we get to see a couple photos of Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, all dolled up in a dress that is the epitome of everything that Carrie Bradshaw stands for — outrageously, chic style:

Oh yes, SaTC stylist Patricia Field really did a great job resurrecting this hot little number (which, apparently, Carrie wore during season 3 of SaTC). It appears that in this scene being filmed for the sequel film, Carrie is being picked up for a date by Mr. Big … who she married at the end of the Sex and the City Movie. So … the question becomes, why is she still living in her NYC apartment? Unless this scene is a flashback scene (much like the 80′s flashback scene that was filmed earlier this week), it doesn’t make sense that she would keep her apartment after getting married to Big and moving into their amazing penthouse on 5th Ave. I’m sure all questions will be answered when Sex and the City 2 hits theaters in May 2010. Getting back to the point, tho, SJP as Carrie looks fab. I can’t believe how much I love this shizz!

Britney Spears, who is currently on the second leg of her North American tour The Circus starring Britney Spears, busted out a surprise performance in Greensboro, NC last night. In addition to her normal setlist, Britney interjected a LIVE performance of the Alanis Morissette hit You Oughta Know:

It’s unclear if this new number is going to be repeated at future concert stops or if it was a one-time-only special performance. I understand they had problems with the rigging equipment and Britney was not able to make her usual entrance to the stage by descending from the rafters, nor was she able to fly on her huge umbrella to perform Everytime. According to a few sources, Nicole Richie reportedly checked herself into a local SoCal hospital here in LA yesterday presumably so that she could give birth to that baby she’s been carrying around in her uterus for the past 9 months or so. Now, because there has been no official confirmation that she actually checked into the hospital and, to my knowledge, there are no photos of her arriving at the hospital, we should treat this info as rumor … but, just in case she does give birth today or tomorrow I felt it would be wise to pass along this rumor, just in case:

You may recall that Joel Madden announced on his official website that Nicole was pregs with the couple’s second child back in February, which was 7 months ago. If you consider that he decided to wait a month or two after they learned she was pregs to make the announcement, it’s about time for her to pop. Whether she has checked into the hospital or not, I hope she is doing well and that he is able to give birth to a healthy baby when the time is right … but I can’t help but also hope that the time is right right now ;)
