Last week all the Twilight news was about the firing of Rachelle Lefevre and the hiring of Bryce Dallas Howard but this week it looks as if the focus has moved back to promoting the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Two new character posters have been released to the Internets to hype up the film and, presumably, move focus away from the controversy and back to the rabid fandom. Here is the newly released poster artwork featuring the film’s protagonist Bella Swan:
Pretty standard, kinda meh. To be honest, the poster of Edward Cullen is very similar … just a close-up of his face … but considering how many Twilighters go ga-ga over the mere sight of the lad, well, I guess they’ll be happy with any new promo artwork that features Robert Pattinson as Edward. You slap these images on lunchboxes, bed sheets and notebooks and you’ve got GOLD! Members of Team Jacob will have to wait a bit longer to get promo materials featuring their favorite character … but they’re coming. Just you wait and see.

at least with the individual shots they’re looking at the camera and they look staged, the photoshopped one of them next to each other looks just like that….a badly done photoshopped image a tween fan threw together…..I’m also not sure why Edward is always in a jacket and Bella is in tanks…depression for her means sleepwear thats not weather appropriate while for him it means dressing like a used car salesman? I’m going to guess they have him like that b/c its what hes wearing for the wood scene where they break up, but I don’t get why he wears that outfit for that scene anyway.
not liking the way they’re trying to make k-stewart look sexy with the mouth slightly open thing. personally her offscreen attitude is putting me off twilight… :S

im jealous of the contacts the cullens wear in the movie…i tried that colour a few years ago..and its was a no go..but they just alllll seem to be able to pull that colour off lol
i am sick and tired of twilight..every time i hear about it i throw up in my mouth a little..and why is robert pattison so “hot?”..i don’t see it…

Why is Kristen’s mouth open ALL THE TIME! It seems like throughout the movie and in so many of these promo pics I’ve seen, her mouth is always partly open..I’m not a big fan of the Twilight stuff so maybe that’s what my issue is..I don’t know..As lame as I think all of this hoopla is, I’m sure if I was one of the billions of die hard fans, I’d be crapping my pants..

And Kristen has been seen smoking weed many times, so she probably is high. I have to admit I smoke too and I am an extremely efficient stoner, but I would never go to work stoned!

I am still laughing at everyone’s comments. They are hilarious….in a good way! I completely agree with Joelle, Leanne and Vanessa. Everytime we see a picture of her she looks the exact same, which includes looking high.

I like the fact that there’s nothing else in the pictures. You focus on them. I’m a Twilight fan, but not a screaming teenie. I, too, do not get the big deal about Robert Pattinson. Meh.
