The Ladies Of ‘Twilight’ Do ‘Glamour’ Magazine
Twilight stars Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed and Noot Seear are joined by the ex-Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre in the new issue of Glamour magazine which went to press before the shocking announcement was made that Rachelle has been fired from the movie franchise. Titled Twilight Beauty, the ladies are featured in a photospread that is meant to highlight their natural as well as their made-up beauty … behold:

Clearly the whole piece was shot way before Rachelle was let go from her role in the upcoming third Twilight film Eclipse, cuz she looks way too happy in the photos. Poor thing. After the jump, check out individual photos of the ladies lookin’ all glammed up for the mag …

They all look lovely, Rachelle looks beautiful. Ah well … I guess it’s time to get over her firing … it’s just still such a shame, I liked her in the role of Victoria. This may very well be the last photoshoot that she appears in for anything to do with Twilight. At least she’s going out with a bang!

Oh, so pretty! I still think Nikki Reed was NOT the best choice to play Rosalie… blonde does NOT make her look good and her features are too masculine. But in this photoshoot and with her natural hair color, she’s so much better!
I can’t recognize the fourth woman?! Who is she playing?

these are really nice pictures and I think they look even better then in the movie
August 9th, 2009 at 10:55 am
where is kristen?
August 9th, 2009 at 10:58 am
i love that kristen isnt involved lol
August 9th, 2009 at 10:59 am
i agree nikki reed was a strange choice for rosalie when there are so many gorgeous blonds out there. she really does look so much better with brown hair.

Noot Seear, the 4th chick, is playing “Heidi” in New Moon. She’s the vamp that goes “fishing” for humans to bring back to the Volturri.
August 9th, 2009 at 11:26 am
Haha <3 that Kristen isn’t involved.. Power to the less popular twilighters.
August 9th, 2009 at 11:29 am
i agree about Nikki Reed, i´m not happy about her playing Rosalie but she sure is pretty with her natural haircolour.
August 9th, 2009 at 11:57 am
The only reason why Nikki Reed got to be Rosalie is because Catherine Hardwhicke or whatever her name is worked with Nikki on some movie previously and they remained good friends so therefore Catherine ~thought~ Nikki would be the best for Rosalie. Not! Nikki isn’t beautiful and, in my opinion, is pretty at best. There’s a lot more natural blondes out there who are great actresses who could do much better of a job. Oh well, BB’s. Oh, and Rachelle could’ve pulled off Rosalie much more than Nikki.

Aw, man Rachelle is just the perfect Victoria and this makes me feel bad all over again!
August 9th, 2009 at 12:34 pm
Whenever I see Nikki Reed with her natural color I can’t get over how gorgeous she looks. I agree though, there are definitely other options for beautiful, naturally blonde (and pale) actresses. A lot of nikki’s beauty is lost once you change her hair and lighten her skin tone.
August 9th, 2009 at 12:51 pm
That’s gotta be bittersweet for Rachelle to see.
I dig Nikki Reed. I do think she looks better with her own hair color though, but I don’t mind her as Rosalie.
August 9th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
Nikki Reed does have a unique beauty about her, I thought that the first director of Twilight, was actually her Stepmother though, which is why she got the part of Rosalie. XD I guess my sources are terrible.
I actually thought Tiffany Thornton, would make a great Rosalie. But Nikki isn’t bad as Rosalie.
August 9th, 2009 at 1:04 pm
i agree with CHASE… Rachelle could’ve pulled a better ROSALIE than Nikki… but RACHELLE did fantastic as Victoria… She’s sooo frickin’ beautiful!!! i’m really upset to see her let go… UGGGHHH!
August 9th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
I totally didn’t even recognize Ashley Green! She looks so beautiful in that picture! All the girls are beautiful in their own way, and I think they make/made good characters. Sad about Rachel, but what can you do?
August 9th, 2009 at 1:46 pm
I agree that Nikki didn’t really fit my mental image of Rosalie. I think she’s beautiful when brunette but when she’s blonde it dissapoints me. Ashley Greene is beautiful! They all are!
August 9th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
I think Kate Bosworth would have been a great Rosalie! Though Nikki’s still good and everything..
August 9th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
The fourth lady plays Heidi…a member of The Volturi.

I have a question for Trent and everyone else that says that Rachelle was “perfect as Victoria”…
She had what…2 lines in the whole Twilight movie? So she can hiss and crouch like a cat…I’m pretty sure most actresses can do that as well. Not saying she WASN’T good at what she did, but I just don’t see anything outstanding about that performance. Responses?

Moves = BDH? ;)
August 9th, 2009 at 2:07 pm
Okay, maybe I’m like…the slowest person alive, but what is BDH?
August 9th, 2009 at 2:09 pm
@Moves- I think it it facial expressions and just body language that made her Victoria. Twilight really didn’t give any of the actors/actress’ a chance to shine because it was sort of everywhere. Of course most actress’ can do the same thing as Rachelle did. But I really just think it was how she portrayed Victoria, she didn’t have to say anything. Its like in Silent movies, there were TONS of actors/actress’ that got recognized by those by just how they acted(XD though most acting in that was exaggerated XD), and they were even better in talking movies.
Its just the feeling you get from the actress? I guess? >.< I hope that made at least some sense. ^^; if not ignore my babbling
August 9th, 2009 at 2:24 pm
@ moves: bryce dallas howard I’m guessing lol. I see your point though when you ask what basis people had for that. I think even though she had limited screen time she physicall fit the image of victoria and emobied her well and people could see that continuing thorugh the remainder of the series.
August 9th, 2009 at 2:43 pm
actually most of the ladies here look way better than they do in the movie. and i agree with everyone else: Nikki Reed is way better with her natural coloring. Otherwise she doesn’t look like the gorgeous Rosalie I had envisioned in my head. Hopefully, the new director hired someone else to fix this.
August 9th, 2009 at 3:11 pm
I like Nikki Reed as Rosalie…I think she’s very pretty, not HOLLYWOOD though…but I never pictured Rose looking all HOLLYWOOD anyway. I do think she looks better as a brunette but still, I really liked her in the role of Rose. And i don’t think they should change any of the lead characters at this point in time. Whatever their decision making was based on it’s kind of set, it would be weird to try and accept someone new (even as Victoria…and I liked Rachelle Lefevre).
August 9th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
I disagree about Nikki being a bad choice for Rosalie. I think she looks stunning with the blonde hair and pale skin. I really like her. But that’s just my opinion.

catherine hardwicke worked with Nikki Reed in Thirteen (the one with Evan Rachel Wood). Good movie :)
August 9th, 2009 at 7:17 pm
Why did Rachelle get fired? I haven’t been paying much attention lately! Just wondering
August 9th, 2009 at 10:25 pm
I really like Nikki as Rosalie. I think she does a great job and she’s gorgeous no matter what color hair she has! She’s one of my fave characters!
August 10th, 2009 at 4:13 am
@AMA- Tiffany Thornton is way to girl next door to play Rosalie. I like the hard bitchiness Nikki brings to the screen however does anyone think Racheal Taylor would’ve been a good Rosalie? She was in the first transformers movie. I think she’s beautiful and could pull off Rosalie’s character well… Ideas?
August 10th, 2009 at 5:35 am
Noot Sear looks like she just stepped off the set of Dallas.

Niki Reed is actually Catherine Hardwick’s stepchild. She also directed Nikki in 13, which Nikki helped write with her stepmother. I think she is a very bad actress, and she looks like a dude in these pictures.
Rachelle looks radiant and beautiful!

Re: Krissy..
“But there’s also this really funny misconception about me because I’ve worked with Catherine Hardwicke three times. There’s this idea that she’s my stepmother. But I have a mother and a stepmother who has had a really difficult time with that.
Some of the fans have this idea that because I’m playing Rosalie they’re stuck on Catherine as my “stepmom” which she’s never been.”
So that’s incorrect.

Where is Kristen?????

Love Rachelle’s red hair. Kirsten would not have looked good with these glamour shots.

Selina, Catherine dated Nikki’s father. From Yahoo, “Inspired by the turbulent life of an ex-boyfriend’s teenage daughter.” From an interview with Catherine: ” When production designer Catherine Hardwicke decided to transition to writing and directing, she chose as her first project a subject matter very close to her heart. Her friendship with 13-year-old Nikki Reed spawned the collaborative effort,”… “The whole thing came because I was just trying to help her get through this stuff. She said she wanted to act, so we tried to work on acting. I said, “Let’s write something for you so you’ll have a good role.” That’s how the whole thing started, to give her a chance to act.”
She was a step-parent type figure in Nikki’s life. To pretend that her relationship hasn’t affected her casting in Catherine’s movies is more than a bit misleading on Nikki’s part.
