First, no one can decide what is the ‘proper’ age to rebel…not everyone goes through life at the same rate or with the same situations, so yes people grow and mature at different times.

Now, while I don’t necearrily agree with hooking up with a married man, I do think it’s unfair for the woman (or the other whichever) to be completely blamed. YES, they are wrong…but it’s also wrong for the party who is in the relationship to stray. I do agree with Miller though when she says that people judge without knowing the whole situation…no one ever knows the whole situation. I’m not saying here that its ok to cheat…I’m just saying that we shouldn’t blame or judge her based on what the media has shown.

@Jennifer — I’m not not blaming the guy but, to be honest, their wives are the ones who punish them (and rightly so). No one is there to really punish the other woman (or man, depending on the situation). He is no saint, neither is she … but it’s encouraging that she’s finally realizing the consequences of her actions.

What about him? When do we get to point the finger at the man? Obviously, being the “other woman” is a bad thing, but Sienna was not the one who said the vows. Getty broke his vows to his wife and if he hadn’t had an affair with Sienna it probably would have been with someone else. If Sienna was the married one we would still be saying she is a homewrecking slut instead of blaming the guy. I am not saying she shouldn’t be responsible for the damage she has caused, but the media always seems to be place more blame on the woman.

I don’t know if she quite gets it still. I think she understands that it doesn’t do good things for her image – but it sounds like she understands that it bother’s others. It should bother her. It should bother her that she can do something that could destroy a family. If a family fails because of their own issues that ‘s one thing – but to be the cause or work against it’s success – a whole other thing.

Also that comment about “not pleasing other people” – it’s more like not hurting other people. I think she misses that innvoice and care for the feelings of others. It’s still sounds like she’s thinking of herself even now to me.
