Rihanna is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Italian Vogue magazine in the photospread that inspired her to shave her head … here is the cover:
As of yet, none of the photos from inside the mag have made their way to the Internets, as far as I can tell. Needless to say, I think this coverphoto gives us a very good idea of what’s in store. It’s kooky, no?

What’s up with these women in awkward standing postitions? Sharon Stone and then there was another one (I can’t remember who it was) and now this…
I am probably reading into it too much, but Rhianna’s style has always been a mixture of girly and tough. Since the incident with Chris, it seems as if the “tough” side has gotten a lot stronger and more aggressive. Perhaps she is tired of being seen as a victim and uses fashion to feel empowered? I know they styled her for this shoot, but it seems to be happening in her daily wear as well.
I love Rhianna. I do, but I’m sick of the scary monster look. Do something else… like, have a robot, modorn age kinda shoot, or do a more Gothic something. or do a vamped up (haha) Dracula or SOMETHING. It’s like Disturbia video over again. i need something new. This edgy look has gotten a bit dull.
