Nine Inch Nails have just released on Twitter the poster artwork for the final batch of concert dates that they will be doing in NYC, Chicago and LA to close out their Wave Goodbye Tour. As you may recall, Trent Reznor announced a set of 10 dates (4 in NYC, 2 in Chicago and 4 in LA) that will be the last NIN shows, possibly, for good. To mark the occasion, a limited edition poster will be on sale in a limited run at the final shows … here is what it will look like along with the Twitter announcement:

Tour poster for the final run of shows – There will also be limited-run posters for New York, Chicago, and LA.
The end is nigh, y’all … and it is coming very quickly. I will be flying out to NYC next week for the 4 NYC shows the following weekend and then the weekend after that, I’ll be at the final final LA dates … and then, the end. I can’t remember the last time I bought a concert poster but you better believe I’ll be picking up one of these. It would be an understatement to call this the end of an era. While I am really excited for the shows, I’m not looking forward to Waving Goodbye for good :(

BEST nin poster in awhile. great lines! love it.
I can’t wait to hear / see what’s in store for these final shows! Hopefully the sets are long. Can’t wait for you feedback!!! Are you attending these all with David? Is he a big of fan as you are?
I am so excited for these new shows!!! I’m going to the Chicago shows, myself.
Also, I MUST have this poster. It matches my tattoo, which is based on Rob Sheridan’s Troublemaker. I laughed so hard when I realized! For comparison: Troublemaker: http://www.rob-sheridan.com/sk.....emaker.jpg

Awesome :D
Trent take me with you PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I give him less than 5 years before he is making music, and touring as NIN again… If he flip flops like he does with his twitter and stuff, then whos to think he won’t flip flop on this decision too …
I just remember that Trent left it open-ended. He said they’re the last dates for the foreseeable future and he won’t rule out changing his mind a few years down the line to tour again. I’m interested in hearing what his next project is. According to a post on NIN.com it involves his significant other in some fashion.
I really hope that this isn’t the end! I am so jealous that his final dates are in America. I got the chance to see them at T in the Park festival in Scotland, and they were amazing. I was so happy to see Robin back with them. I hope you post pictures and set lists like you normally do! I wish I could be a part of these smaller gigs.
Can someone tell my why the poster says Toronto but I can not find any tour dates?
@ju-ju bean — NIN will be playing the Virgin Festival in Toronto, technically not one of the Wave Goodbye tourdates cuz it’s a festival but they are performing: http://www.virginfestival.ca/ontario/tickets/
I cant wait to go to the NYC shows! Im going to Webster Hall and the 2 Terminal 5 shows. I am very sad to see NIN go. But Trent has been putting out alot of music in the past few years. I think maybe the man needs some rest. I wish him the best of luck. :)
