Mark Wahlberg & Rhea Durham Got Hitched!
Marky Mark and the Funky Bride

Congratulations are in order for Marky Mark Wahlberg and his longtime girlfriend/babymama/fiancée Rhea Durham cuz, as rumors suggested, the happy couple tied the knot and were wed in a not-so-quiet ceremony at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday afternoon. While the wedding itself wasn’t a big secret, the guestlist was pretty intimate … only the couples three children and 12 guests were in attendance. After all these years together, they finally got hitched, y’all:

Mark Wahlberg has finally made it official! The actor and his longtime girlfriend, model Rhea Durham, tied the knot on Saturday, PEOPLE has confirmed. The couple, who have three children – Ella Rae, 5, Michael, 3, and 10-month-old Brendan Joseph – were married Saturday in an intimate and romantic ceremony attended by their children and about 12 close friends and family at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. Wahlberg donned a dark suit and the bride wore a white strapless dress with silver embroidery and a Neil Lane diamond-and-platinum cushion-cut ring complemented by a diamond bracelet and earrings. “She looked like a princess and beyond stunning. Mark looked ecstatic,” says an eyewitness shortly after the ceremony, which lasted for about 45 minutes in the church, which was decorated with candles and pink and light purple roses. The groom-to-be, 38, spent a quiet pre-wedding moment alone at the church Friday afternoon. Wahlberg, looking happy and relaxed, sat down in the front row before returning home to his Beverly Hills home for a small gathering.

Marky Mark confessed to the press earlier this year that he and Rhea were thinking about an August wedding (at the time, I was assumed that the couple would wed in his hometown of Boston, MA) … then word began to spread Friday that Saturday would be the big day here in SoCal. I understand that Marky Mark will be starring opposite Rachel Weisz in Peter Jackson‘s big screen adaptation of the Alice Sebold novel The Lovely Bones (due to hit theaters on December 11) … since I’m not a big fan of Entourage (the HBO series he executive produces), Lovely Bones is his next project I’m looking forward to seeing (and is a book I’m desperate to read, it’s on my book pile now). In any event, much love and congrats goes out to Marky & Rhea on their nuptials … it took long enough, didn’t it ;)

I wish them all the best. I hope this isn’t one of those couples that wait years and years to get married only to then divorce after a short period of time.

    Congrats!!

    well…its about time lol

  3. Jo-E says:

it’s nice that they took the time to figure out if they wanted to be married. I’m sure they had plenty of time to figure things out to make sure they have a solid relationship….and 3 kids shouldn’t have hurt….lol

  4. Chella says:

Wow it is about time!! She doesn’t looked very thrilled in that first photo not at all!!

I just read “The Lovely Bones” this summer. It’s great. I’m so excited about the movie. I wasn’t aware there would be one until reading it here. Thanks for the info. I highly recommend you take a break from Harry Potter (which I am also re-reading this summer) and read this book.

These 2 are so cute together. They’ve got gorgeous kids too. Good for them. Wish them the best. PS: Didn’t Donnie marry Kim after she had his babies too? Then they were divorced once the NK tour began again…

(Hit submit too fast sorry!) Hopefully the Funky Bunch won’t reunite, lol! Entourage is funny, but, I’m curious, what don’t you like about it?

  9. Jessica says:

They don’t look very happy. I guess it is anticlimatic to get married after 7 years and 3 kids.

I don’t think Jeremy Piven is acting much in entourage .. he always reminds me of an annoying chihuahua dog.

  11. Monica says:

I LOVED the Lovely Bones. When it first came out I was single and now I have reread it as a wife and mother and it is still a great book, but a much more emotional read. You will enjoy it.
