Madonna Releases A Full Promo Trailer For ‘Celebration’
Teases her new music video for the 'Celebration' single
Last month Madonna released a few short teaser video clips to promote the release of her upcoming greatest hits album Celebration but this week she releases a full-on promo video for the disc which includes a tiny peek at her music video for her single Celebration. Here are a few screencaps:

The colors are great and I love the snippets from some of her greatest hit songs that appear … and the tease for the Celebration video ain’t bad either. After the jump, check out the minute-long clip and see for yourselves …
I’m still really diggin’ the song Celebration and now I’m itchin’ to see the video. What do y’all think, do you like?

am i the only one who finds it werid that music videos always have promo trailers now?
i had a dreamm about madonna..so weird!
i was eating breakfast and she came over to say she liked my shirt, and it was a madonna shirt i never saw before.
I am so bored by Madonna anymore. The last time I found her interesting was when she came out with “Frozen”. Since then her work has been a big snooze fest for me. These ads just make me think “remember when she was entertaining?”.
I love Madonna!! But… How do you go from releasing some of the best videos of all time to releasing crappy green screen videos and thinking it is creative… Also Celebration and Revolver totally seem like rejects off Confessions and Hard Candy. And another GREATEST HITS? She puts out 2 albums and that garners a greatest hits? Ugh… Again… Totally a fan… But pretty lame
Haha. That Madge sure does love to stretch and kick in her latter years.
@Jay: She is the queen, and watching that promo reminds me of just how great she has been during the years. I think that it is perfectly fitting to have a greatest hits as her last release with Warner. Since she is, well, the greatest!
QUEEN.
Regarding Jay’s comments…
Just to clarify why this album is coming out, when she signed her new deal with LiveNation, she still had 2 contractually obligated releases to fullfill with Warner Brothers. One was for a studio album; thus “Hard Candy”, the other was for a hits album. This is a double disc that includes 34 singles from her entire career and not just the singles from the three (not two) studio albums since her last hits album. Though I love her more recent work, particularly American Life, a hits album that covered that album , Confessions and Candy would not have been much of a seller as the singles from those records, aside from Hung Up and 4 minutes, didn’t perform well. Hopefully someday we will get a multi-disc box set that really is a reflection of her amazing career.
Interesting in the Papa Don’t Preach segment; they either cut the clip right before her nipple slips out or it’s airbrushed away (I believe the former). Check out the video and you’ll see. Her nipple actually appears twice in it.
she’s so cool, so many transformations! It must be real fun to be her! can’t wait to celebrate!
legend!!!!!
