Lindsay Lohan Does ‘Elle’ Magazine
Back in June we heard about a jewelry theft on the set of an Elle magazine photoshoot (were a reported $400,000. in jewels went missing) and at the time we heard that Lindsay Lohan, who wore the jewels in the photoshoot, was among those questioned in the disappearance. Dina Lohan, L. Lo’s mother and bastion of verity, went on the record to deny that her daughter had anything to do with the jewelry theft … Elle magazine issued a statement also exonerating Linds of the theft. Today we get to see the photos from that infamous Elle magazine photoshoot of Lindsay rockin’ all the jewels that, not long after she wore them, went missing:
Lindsay Lohan looks all temptress sex vixen in these pictures as she sparkles in front of the camera wearing blinging jewellery and over-the-knee boots. But this is the photoshoot where thieves stole £24,000 of Dior diamond jewellery including earrings and a necklace. The actress, 23, is wearing the bracelets and rings that they did not make away with. Despite the theft, the Mean Girls star still managed to shine in the photos wearing tiny hot pants and a figure-hugging bodice. Police are still investigating the jewellery theft from the studio in Islington, north London in June. A police spokesman said there have been no arrests and Elle magazine, which arranged the shoot, said they did not believe the actress was ‘in any way responsible’. Lindsay, who has dyed her hair peroxide blonde since the shoot, is rumoured to be ready to film Robert Rodriguez’s new film Machete, which is about to start shooting. He dropped huge hints to MTV.com, saying: ‘We’re casting right now, and the script just came out great. There are a lot of people we’re sending it to, big names – but nobody that we’ve signed yet.’ He added: ‘Lindsay’s cool. There’s actually a cool part in the movie for her – if she takes it.’ She told followers on Twitter the hair colour change was for a film role. Replying to one fan who told her ‘I miss your red hair – but you look beautiful as always’, she tweeted back, ‘it’s for a movie I miss it too… I begged (not to have it dyed). LOL.’
Damn, she looks so much better with her red hair (rather than that garish blonde job she just had done) … I can’t wait ’til she dyes it back. Regarding the stolen jewels, I don’t necessarily think that Lindsay had anything to do with the missing baubles … particularly because even if she did nick them, she’d never be able to wear them out in public. Besides, do we really think that Lindsay Lohan is wily enough to be a jewel thief? After the jump, check out a few more photos from this Elle magazine photospread …
LOL! With all the talk about the expensive jewelry that was used in this photoshoot … you can’t really see any of it in the photos. Also, Lindsay — I love you, girl — but you need to get new poses. How many times have we seen these pics before? Too many times … change it up, hon … or people will have to stop lookin’.

Hmmm… let’s see. There were rumors of Linds going broke. THEN a pantload of expensive jewels were stolen. And now Linds ain’t broke no more. And she hasn’t had a job in ages. And I’m pretty sure that leggings line of hers is barely covering the cost of Ramen noodles.
I’m just sayin’ is all.

Trent, I think people are already to stop looking. She’s doing all of these covers with nothing to promote but herself which is nothing. She isn’t going anywhere. She’s stuck and has barely and career resolution left. I, as well as others, don’t consider her relevant. Just my opinion of course. But, not many guys find her that hot anymore and girls don’t like her so what does she really have? I don’t think she can redeem herself but if she can then I’ll be impressed. She has a long way to go, though. HMMMM indeed.

Trent, I couldn’t agree with you more. I feel like we’ve seen these same poses/outfits/photoshoots before. She pulls the exact same “I have really long hair and I look hot when it’s all in my face” look every time. Yes, your hair is very long, and we get that you like to look cracked out.

I don’t hate Lindsay Lohan but i don’t like her either. I mean she has done nothing for me to make me a fan, mainly cause her music & movies don’t appeal to me.

I mean she has this career which seemed quite successful with her comedy/teenage movies which were either way going to come to an end and she needed a more mature approach. But she obviously, tried to mature to quick and effed up the little career in that genre quicker than thought and now she has no career except leggings & somehow being in magazines.

Surely she is broke or something. But then again from what we see on the site, she don’t wear no designer clothes or anything so she must be short of cash or just watching her money. Trent (and all readers) – did y’all read the interview itself? It made me angry and tired of Lindsay Lohan. She was late to the shoot by 12 hours and while 20 people were waiting on her, kept smoking outside on the balcony. She never gave Elle a proper interview and kept bailing on the journalist.
I cannot, for the life of me, understand why she is so conceited and full of herself. She doesn;t even have a solid acting career to fall back on, she could learn to be professional now, of all times!
I seriously cannot stand this girl anymore, who treats people like sh*t!

i actually really like these photos. i wish she would have kept this hair colour and just used a wig for her movie (not to mention the whole mouth & hand thing…). im not a lover..but not a hater..the girl just has some demons to deal with and no one around to help her out.

I don’t think she agreed to do a ‘proper’ interview … the crux of this article (as I read it on AfterEllen) was that the reporter was ‘chasing’ her all over London to get one.
Yes she was there for a photo shoot … and while in London, her and Sam were having drama problems (that they didn’t even try to hide).
Why would she steal jewels when she is photographed 24/7 and couldn’t wear them anywhere or sell them, without being snapped??
