I cannot to see any thing new about Michael Jackson! I just think it really sucks that he is really gone for the longest time I was thinking this was all some kinda of thing he came up with to get out of doing all those concerts,but I guess it’s just not a fact he is really gone!!!

Jon Stewart is HANDS DOWN the best newsman on TV. (Which doesn’t bode well for the state of the news media today.) He is insightful and really calls out the bullsh*t that goes on (on BOTH sides!).
I went to see GI Joe this weekend and while I was a little disappointed with the overall look of Cobra Commander, I enjoyed the movie a lot!
A PSA would have been nice at the end of the movie though just for shits and giggles.

It’s the only reason I stayed well after the credits, hoping and wishing and praying that they would do that just to please my kid-at-heart (me) but sadly I got nothing. It’s ok though bc they get a sequel to remedy that ASAP.
True Blood has really been annoying me lately! First of all, they’re dragging out the Maenad a.k.a. Mary-Ann’s character out too much. She was barely part of the books but I’m just tired of all the stupid crap like her controlling people, etc. etc. I wish someone would just kill her and get it over with. We get it: you control people, ruin their lives, and do some weird flickery thing. The whole tone of the show is going into a completely different tone of the books and I don’t really care for it. And I don’t get grossed out easily but the whole brain eating thing in last nights episode was gross and totally uncalled for. It made me sick to my stomach. Definitely unnecessary and just flat-out gross.
where is Betty White on that list of sexy elderly celebs?! that lady is a fox and has attitude to spare!
I get that True Blood is more “inspired by” than actually based on the books, but pretty much all of the changes they have made from the books have been bad ones. They just aren’t as enjoyable to watch as the books are to read.
As long as Radiohead continues to release music in some form, I’ll be happy. But the day they split will be an extremely sad day for me.
The words ‘sexiest’ and ‘elderly’ should never sit side by side
I’m surprised you think True Blood has gotten cheesy this season. I honestly haven’t been this addicted to a TV show since Buffy.
@Jeff — Mebbe it’s just a knee-jerk reaction but last night’s ep kinda turned me off. I’m so over the Churchies. I kinda want to read the books instead.
@Trent – Read the books! I’m pretty sure you’ll like the books but sometimes the books can be slightly cheesy as well. The writing is good but it isn’t great but the stories are fun overall if not sometimes predictable.

The source material for True Blood is a cut above harlequin romance novels meet book of the month club mystery books. So far, I think they’ve done a really good job with the tv show and it looks like it’s getting better.
