Yesterday, Joel Madden tweeted to his faithful Twitter followers that he is the proud owner of a new toy … and today we get to see the photos of Joel‘s new toy … which requires the use of a riding helmet:
No, Joel didn’t get himself a motorcycle (I sincerely doubt that Nicole Richie would allow him to get one to be completely honest) but he did get himself a vehicle of some sort. After the jump, check out Joel riding around his neighborhood on his new wheels …

LOL! To be fair, Joel Madden is a family man now … he’s not really able to take the crazy risks that he used to be able to before he became a father. I suppose if one wants to take a ride on the wild side after settling down to make a family, this is the kind of recreational vehicle that you have to settle with. It looks fun, no?

It’s a tricycle, but with two wheels in front and one in the back. A couple here in Maine have had these since they came out a few years ago, very safe and stable to ride. Oh, and they have a kickass acceleration rate too :)

It is a motorcycle, it is a Canam Spyder. We have several of them running around here in Iowa. They are super ugly, and everyone thinks they look like a snowmobile. =)

I test drove one of those. It’s made by the same people who make snow mobiles. It’s called a Spyder. I like them and I’m not into motorcyles…and I was able to sit on one and move it around with high heels on! They are comfortabe and safer than a standard bike (but everyone knows the biggest dangers with bikes are cars and other drivers). They are super fun and do stand out!
If you listen very closely as he drives by on it, you can hear him going “dun nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh BATMAN!!” over and over…
I love these! Saw some in Ohio earlier this summer. It’s like a safer trike!
It looks like fun to me. Hope he doesn’t try to take Nicole for a ride until after the new baby is born though. Love you Joel!!
