‘G.I. Joe: The Invasion Of Cobra Island’
Toying around

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, starring Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and others, opened in theaters last weekend but there is more G.I. Joe fun to be had. A fun little viral movie titled G.I. Joe: The Invasion of Cobra Island has been making its way around the Internets to promote the new live action film and, to be honest, this little 2-part mini-movie is almost as entertaining as the film is:

The whole thing features actual G.I. Joe action figures acting out the story in stop-motion animation. It’s pretty much what you wish you could do with your G.I. Joes when you were a little kid … you know, if you had access to high tech animation software and high end video equipment. But, at last, those boy/girlhood dreams from yesteryear can be fully realized in this fun little mini-movie. After the jump, check it out in full for yourselves …

LOL!! This movie ROCKS! I swear, Cobra Commander has to be my fave character in this … I love it!! Even if you think you won’t like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra you should still check out this mini-movie … it’s really fun. AND, it’s given me some great ideas for what to do with all the action figures I’ve got lying around. Who wants to play?

Like a not as funny episode of Robot Chicken. That self destruct bit with the Windows was pretty awesome though.

Just wanted to say WELCOME HOME to a REAL American Hero, Captain Scott Speicher! His plane was shot down the first night of the Gulf War in 91′. It was the first, and the last time, the Navy didn’t send a rescue team for a fallen comrade. His body was buried in the desert and was recently found after 18, almost 19 years. He was just 33 years old when he died. He left behind a wife and two children (ages 3 & 1).He was finally laid to rest today. Since no blog out there is talking about it, I thought I’d take the time to mention it. He is a true hero, so thank you to him & his family. Thank you to ALL the military men and women serving/ or have served our country. That is all.

Trent, truer words have never been spoke. Even the theme song is WIN.
