First Look: Whitney Houston, ‘Million Dollar Bill’

Whit's new single gets new artwork
August 10th, 2009

Here is our first look at the cover artwork for Whitney Houston’s first single Million Dollar Bill off her much-anticipated new album I Look to You available in stores on August 31:

The single artwork looks a little bit like Mariah Carey’s album cover for her new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, don’t you think? While the songs I Didn’t Know My Own Strength and the title track I Look to You have previously been leaked to the Internets (either officially or unofficially), Million Dollar Bill is the official first single from the album. The track was written by Alicia Keys and can be streamed online in full HERE. The song has also recently be released to radio, so you might have already heard it. I think the song has a great uptempo sound to it … perfect for a first single. I’m anxious for the album to be released cuz I’m very curious to hear what other people think of the disc. But while we wait for the album’s release, we can at least content ourselves with this new track. So … what do y’all think? Do we love?

I love! I definitely love! I used to be a huge fan of both Whitney and Mariah, but I can’t stand to even look at Mariah these days. It’s sad, really. But I’m a hardcore Houston fan all the way!

  4. Debho Says:

Yeah, it does look a little like Mariah’s. Plus the beyotch stole my hairdo. lol

  5. Mariah Says:

Looks JUST like Mariah’s album cover. Weird…

  6. Bill Says:

Battle of the Bitches is on! I don’t think this single is all that great, to tell the truth. “I Look to You” would have been a better choice.

  7. mike Says:

well its a whole lot better than ” i didnt know my own strength”..if that was the mood of the album I would have been worried…I am till nervous..I dont know how well this song would do on radio

  8. Mark Says:

Honestly, the song is bland and Whitney sounds … like Dionne Warwick!! Frightening. She had such an amazing, powerful, emotional voice. Now, post-drugs (I hope), it’s so much less powerful and sounds ten years older than she is. Sad.

Not a bad choice. Had a bit of the early 90s feel to it. Need a good remix to further boost it. I hope they could get Moto & Blanco to work some magic on this like how they work on JHudson.

Boring….how plain and dull, you’d think if she was trying to make yet another comeback that she would add a little more flare and excitement to the cover art. She should have gotten high first then do something real crazy!

    sounds like LaToya…..

Maybe I’m naive to Mariah’s album covers, but if it really looked like hers, wouldn’t she be wearing something that would make her look like an over grown teenager???
