The Fall television season is nearly upon us and we already know that many of our fave shows have been in production for many weeks now to bring the boob tube entertainment that we’ve all been missing since the last television season ended back in late Spring. We know that Gossip Girl Season 3 started filming back in June and here we are 2 months later with the first video trailer for the upcoming season … here are a few screencaps of our first look of GG Season 3:
The trailer is also our first look at the WTF! promo campaign for the series. While it does not show the new GG character that will be played by Hilary Duff, it does quickly feature two other new characters played by Joanna Garcia (ex-Privileged) and Chris Riggi (who plays Scott Ronsson, long-lost lovechild of Lily van der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey). To be honest, IMHO, the clip is pretty tame … I didn’t actually go WTF? once while watching it … but it is very nice to see our fave characters back in action. I was much more impressed with the Love Sucks ad campaign that The CW released for The Vampire Diaries (which we saw Saturday) Gossip Girl returns to The CW in just about a month’s time on September 14 — who’s excited?

series 2 only just ended here in england – i can’t wait to see how gossip girl’s interpreted into college. i also hope jenny goes back to the old bad-girl little j, because nowadays she’s annoying all “let’s banish the monarchy”

I seriously cannot wait for the season to start. I have been waiting since Carter and Serena drove off, since Georgina requested Blair to be her roommate, since Chuck and Blair finally said I love you. I CAN’T WAIT ANY LONGER.
And Trent, are you going to cover the show in more detail this season?
Ugh. Snooze. I’m still dying to see the new season, but that didn’t make me excited about it at all.
