‘Dexter’ Season 4 Releases A New Promo Poster
In June we got our first look at the promo artwork for the upcoming 4th season of the amazing Showtime series Dexter and last month we got our first look at the trailer video for the show which premieres on September 27. Today we get to check out a very cute new promo poster for Dexter which kinda encapsulates the tone of the coming season:
OMG … love this campaign! Dexter as a daddy is just too brills … however will he be able to fit in all those ritual slayings in between naptime and diaper changing? Making Dexter a new father is a great new plot development that can either make for a great season … or a not-so-great season. I’ve already made clear that I kinda didn’t love the last season with the meddlesome Jimmy Smits character but I really loved the 1st and 2nd seasons of the show so … I have high hopes season 4 will be just as good. September 27 can’t get here soon enough for me.

I’m absolutely heartbroken. I haven’t watched season three yet and was trying to avoid the promo poster. It ruined everything.

Janelle if it helps Rita’s pregnancy is apparent to viewers (though not her) really early on in the season. My bff and I both guessed at that before she finds out herself, so it isn’t a big shocking reveal at all.

I can’t wait!! I am so obsessed with this show..Even when there were plotlines I wasn’t too keen about, I always loved watching Michael C. Hall handle his character Dexter in such a brilliant way..

Ahhh. These promo pictures are so great.
I have not watched season 3 either (released on Amazon on August 18 WOOT!) but these are not very spoiler-ish if you’ve read the books. You had to figure this was bound to happen. I’m so sad that this show doesn’t get more credit.

Season 3 = Ruined for me. Gutted… no spoiler tag or anything. I live somewhere where I have to wait for the DVD to come out in order to catch up.

I really don’t think this poster ruins anything in season 3. It’s just a pregnancy it has little to do with what the show is really about.
I can’t wait to see the new season. Although I am a little bit afraid of it not being as good as it was I still want to see it. I watched the first 3 seasons on DVD and couldn’t stop watching!

i’ve been rewatching the show on demand since it’s been like a million years since the show has been on… and you find out in the FIRST EPISODE of season 3 that rita’s preggers. stop being so dramatic, people. “season three is RUINED for me now.”
