While I do not agree with any man putting his hands on any woman, did any of you hear what the judge said to Rhianna? He told her that SHE better not come near HIM or she will be in comtempt and punished. Why would a judge say that unless something else was known that the public doesn’t know about. Rhianna has repeatedly beat on the men in her life so don’t act like she’s innocent. I always tell my friends not to act like a man or fight with a man or you’ll end up treated like a man.

Most women who are beaten don’t talk about it. They feel embarrassed, guilty, and ashamed. Many feel like they deserved it and attitudes like yours just reinforce that.
And on what planet does your warped definition of “beat” make sense? If someone, male or female, gets mugged by a stranger and is beaten to a pulp, do you not call it a beating because it’s probably not going to happen again? Anyway, Webster disagrees with you:

@Whiteny All I can say to you is #1 Look the word “BEAT” up in the dictionary,if by chance you do not have one google the word because you obviously do not know the definition for this word!

I for one think that this is disgusting. What he did as someone pointed out is a mistake. We had not heard anything about a history of violence towards girlfriends or any abusive past relationships.

Another point is, He is NOT a woman beater. I can’t seem to stress how many websites have used this term. He didn’t “beat” her. At least not IMO. “Beat” to me refers to something that happens on multiple occasions, not just once.

Also, as a woman while I am not saying it is okay for any man to hit or beat a woman we don’t know the extent of what happened between these two before that night. She could have hit him, it could be self defense or pent up aggression in which case I agree he does need help.

It sickens me that people like to see him fall, because of one mistake that he is currently seeking help for. It is not as though he hasn’t accepted responsibility, I’m not sure what people want him to do–stand in the street and let someone cast a stone at him? We speak of a society that wants to help those with problems,yet smile when their world ( in this case his career) seems to be falling down.
