Check Out The New Trailer For ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ . . . En Français
Yesterday we got our first look at 14 seconds of the new movie trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon which is set to debut in movie theaters this weekend (ahead of showings of Bandslam) but today we get to check out the full 1:50 trailer in FULL … the only problem is that the trailer has been overdubbed in French. Zut alors! Ah well, the industrious kids at Oh No They Didn’t! managed to procure the clip and provide a fairly accurate translation of what is being said in the video … but rabid Twilight fans don’t need a translation to see what is going on in this new movie trailer:
Someone ever tell you a secret that you couldn’t share with anyone?
Taylor: New moon is far more complex than Twilight was.
Edward: I’m leaving. You’ll never see me again.
Taylor: Edward’s departure leaves Bella profoundly depressed and Jacob becomes the friend whom she could always count on.
Jacob: I know how much he made you suffer but Bella I’ll never hurt you. I promise you.
Bella: You know you’re sorta beautiful.
Taylor: Jacob has changed on many levels. He is physically stronger. He’s taken on at least 30 pounds.
Bella: Be careful. These things are quite heavy, so….
Taylor: As time goes by, you can feel the passion growing.
Taylor: ‘New Moon’ really goes to a higher level.
Taylor: There’s more action is this movie because of the werewolves.
Bella: What have you done to him?
Sam: Back up (or something like that)
Taylor: I think the fans are going to be pleased.
Taylor: ‘New Moon’ is riveting. The tension grows from the beginning to the end.
My guess is that this exact trailer will be shown in theaters (in English) this weekend ahead of showings of Bandslam, so it’s nice that we get this sneak peek (cuz I know I will NOT be seeing Bandslam at all). So … you wanna see the trailer? You better watch it while you can, cuz as y’all should be well aware it could get yanked offline at any moment. After the jump, check it out in full …

If you want to see this movie trailer on the big screen and in English, you’ll need to head out to movie theaters this weekend to see Bandslam … or, you know, just wait a few days and I’m sure it will show up in better quality online or will be shown on TV. But, if I know those rabid Twilighters, they won’t be waitin’ for nothin’. Enjoy!!

that kiss was amazing. I cannot wait friggen 14 weeks for this movie to come out!! ughhhhhhh. I’m glad this trailer had more Edward but still not enough. Wish it was in english.

I don’t know if the US trailer will have the parts with Taylor being interviewed. If so, that’s kind of disappointing. I love the guy, but I want to see more footage from the film, not interviews!

i didn’t think J&B kissed in new moon either, but i can’t remember for sure. while i didn’t care as much for the 2nd book, this movie is hopefully a better ‘translation’ to the screen than twilight was!

I doubt Jake and Bella will actually kiss. It’ll probably be a really intense “almost kiss” moment, and then she’ll pull away, or we’ll see a flashback of Edward and she won’t kiss him.
Just my thoughts.

Trent….you know you are wrong for this. haha Thanks for the repost. Stop complaining about the translation. Just mute the damn thing and watch the scenes. No words are even needed. I did enjoy the scene where Jacob climbs up the teee into Bella room. Look forward to seeing the movie.

this was awesome!! despite the french and the interview with taylor… I think it’ll be such a step up from Twilight. Esp if they’re keeping more to the words in the book than making up and switching things around like they did for Twilight. I’m an edward and bella fan, but even in twilight you could see how more natural and happy kristen acts (in the movie – esp the beach scene when she’s in the van and he sits next to her, her smile and animation is more than she gives normally) around taylor – so they won’t have any trouble selling their friendship/love on screen.

As good as the french language is, if it’s not your native tongue then the trailer doesn’t quite has the same affect as in english!
